Because of Air Bags, most cars don;t have any extra space built into the dash like the older cars..for small items..These are very functional..and serve the purpose..The down side is that the adhesive tape they come with.does not hold them in place..I had to buy stronger 2 sided tape..

Its super small, does not stick to anything, and even if it did its to small to hold anything. And if you were aable to fit something in it it wouldn't stay! SAVE YOURSELF THE MONEY DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM!!! YOU CAN'T RETUREN IT!!!!

It's a great concept and I was excited when I saw that it was 3M adhesive backing, but that must be fraudulent, because I've had great success with 3M products and a lousy experience with this item. It doesn't stick to any surface I've tried. I made sure to clean the surfaces and apply 30 seconds of pressure and it always just falls away. Returns aren't worth it, as an international shipper, I would have to pay shipping on the $2 item, so instead I guess they'll just go in the junk drawer and maybe when I find some REAL 3M adhesive strips I'll replace this junk with my own adhesive and try it again. I'm still giving it 3 stars because the netting and the construction are quite nicely built, if the adhesive worked this would be a 5 star product. So if you have a project where the adhesive doesn't matter or you could supper glue it instead, I HIGHLY recommend.

It has a good look, but after a couple weeks it fell off. The sticky material needs more cushion and perhaps a different adhesive. The glue in the tape melts with the heat inside the car. I will try buying heavy duty double sided tape.

Update:Purchase only from Nument.The other vendors ship different sizes randomly.The adhesive works fine only if you clean each surface properly with alcohol. Otherwise a plastics super glue or epoxy works fine.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I purchased again from "JTU Manufacture" and the wrong sized product was shipped and cannot be returned.It is very important that the surface you stick to is very clean. Wiping with rubbing alcohol and then clamping in place for a minute works very well.However, I was so impressed with the product that I ordered 2 more and got 2 randomly sized nets. They even claimed it was the correct product that was shipped. Frustrating!

This was the second attachable mesh compartment that I've ordered (both identical and shipped from China). They took a while to arrive after ordering (at least 3-4 weeks), but I wasn't in a huge hurry and the price was better than any of the Prime options. Like many of the reviewers have already stated, the tape that comes with this product is pretty much useless. However, with good double-sided 3M tape, I had no issues attaching this to the plastic surface in my car. They are small, but they are actually perfect for what I bought them for -- sticking to the inside of my middle console arm rest box. (For reference, I have a 2013 Toyota Corolla.) I keep things like bobby pins, hair ties, makeup compact, and a small sticky note pad in the mesh pockets.My arm rest console was a disorganized mess, but after installing 3 of these mesh compartments, as well as 3 individual pen holders ( Pen Pal Pen Holders, 3 Pack, Assorted Colors (PENPAL-BP3) ), the box is now very organized. I may even go crazy and put a coin organizer/holder in it next. :)

For the price this thing is pretty neat. Instead of using the adhesive on the back I trimmed velcro to fit and then placed it in my vehicle. The carpet that I have in my car it adheres to extremely well. As you can see from the photos most Flagship smartphones will not fit into the compartment lengthways but will sit vertical. For reference in the photo is a Google pixel 2 XL. The phone will not fit with the case off or on. However I will be buying a second one to put on the other side of the center console because the phone does fit so well vertically.

I wouldn't give it any stars if I could. As soon as I took the tape protectors off and stuck it to a clean surface in my car, it fell off. I pushed on the outer frame to help it stick, and again it fell off. I tried multiple locations; never once did it stick properly. Horrible purchase. Don't buy this thing.

The adhesive is not at all good... Its coming out overtime. You can't keep anything in that.

It doesn't stick any where in the car and I tried to return it but the did respond again, I don't recommend it don't waste time and money
