Very nice sketchbook for plein air or other outside art opportunities. If you like a square format and a good weight watercolor paper protected by a hard cover, this book is ideal. I also chose it for the size, not too big, not too small. Be aware that this is strictly for watercolor or ink, not for drawing with dry mediums.

I love these for my art journals. The paper is heavy and textured on both sides. It is heavy enough to paint on both sides of the paper. It handles acrylics and water paints well. Haven’t done any collage yet, but seems like it would also do well with multi media. I also like the larger square size. Can’t beat these for the price! Get value!

The sketchbook paper has been great! I've used watercolor, colored pencils, marker, and gouache and they've all worked pretty well! Colored pencil leaves little white grainy spots due to the papers texture, but that's to be expected with watercolor paper. Alcohol markers bleed through a small bit as well! I was really surprised when I watercolored over plain pencil, it didn't smudge at all. I can't speak on the lightfastness of the paper or how well it retains pigment, since I haven't had it for too long. But yeah! It's a good size sketchbook for me personally!

I have used these for watercolor and acrylic and both work well. I do not like these for Fabre Castell Watercolor Pencils. However, I do like using these sketchbooks with DERWENT INKTENSE PENCILS.

I really love this little book for watercolor practice. The paper is only 230gsm so it does warp the more water you put on it, but It's excellent for travel, or just a little set up to practice on and get your ideas out there. The paper has a rough texture to it, which I really love as well. Great product for the price. Would definitely buy again.

I enjoy the journals for taking on trips or using at home with various art mediums. Paper holds acrylics and watercolor nicely with little buckling.

The hardcover with linen is beautiful. The paper is pulp-based rather than cotton however it’s of good construction and nice to work on. A lovely sketch journal for watercolours.

Tengo varios cuadernos y papeles de acuarela. Estos han sido mis favoritos desde el primer momento. Estaba buscando algo amplio, pero no alargado, con absorción pero no necesariamente de 300 gr (ya tengo 3) pero que si pudiera usar de ambas paginas. Pasta dura para proteger mi trabajo y no demasiado caro. Con este juego lo encontré! Compre el pack de 2 y ¡estoy muy contenta! era lo que buscaba. El papel es de 230 gr, tiene una linda textura vertical, es suave, la acuarela fluye muyy bien por la hoja, el color es blanco marfil, muy lindo, no amarillento, absorbe excelente el agua. Aguanta lavados y/o varias pasadas. Los colores se ven muy bonitos y puedes usar ambas paginas. Valen mucho la pena 😉

Excelente sketchbook

These are nice books with a good quality paper. I am currently using one for acrylic paint grid journaling. Works well. The book opens pretty flat with a couple of pages that stuck together at the binding which just means those pages lose a small amount at the seam but for me that’s not an issue. Would definitely buy again.
