Just My Style Pretty Pastel Tie Dye by Horizon Group USA, Create 18 Projects, Multicolor

I ordered the Pastel Kit to make shirts for our preschool class. Never having tie dyed a shirt in my life, I didn’t have high expectations but OMG they turned out SO cute! Pastel Kit is the way to go for a softer summery tee. I did watch some tutorials and used my own rubber bands (bc I’m OCD), but really the directions where very simple and cut & dry. I did keep them wrapped for 24 hrs but I’m sure the 4-8 recommended time would’ve been fine. I completed 11 4T shirts & 2 adult medium shirts with this kit. I did start to run out of pink at the end, but had plenty to finish the others. I used 100% cotton tees too as recommended (fruit of the loom & glidan soft tees).The first image is during the processing step, 2nd image is after they were rinsed and last image is the final product after the first wash/dry. The directions state that they will fade some but it’s still very cute. The kids are going to love them!

The colors turned out even better than i was hoping! Not only was it easy to use, but also had as variety of different colors to choose from! As you can see in the picture, they blended together so beautifully!

This was okay. It’s only good for one use. Some of the powder got compacted in the lid and at the top (the powder is already in the bottles which is convenient) and it was hard to get water in without it spilling out & possibly staining. It did come with plenty of rubber bands. If you’re getting this for a kid, I’d recommend getting smaller plastic gloves because they were huge. The colors were super pretty.

I bought this kit for me and my daughter to make a few crafts one weekend. I didn’t do much research before purchasing because I was in a hurry to get it here by the weekend! I found a good price, good reviews and ordered. When it got here, I realized it came with everything I needed that I didn’t know I would actually need. Like rubber bands and gloves…and instructions. I didn’t know there was so many ways to tie a t-shirt with rubber bands (thanks instructions)! We followed the directions other than I let the shirts sit for about 24 hours before rinsing. The shirts turned out beautifully and the dye was pretty dark. I’m sure it will fade over time but I was impressed how dark they remained after washing. I will most certainly purchase this product again in the future.

Did not come out pastel as advertised.

I bought this pack of pastel dyes to try when we were tye dying a bunch of shirts. I was really surprised at how beautiful these colors came out! They dyed the fabric & the color held really well after the initial washing to set the color. They are pastel colors but don't be fooled, that doesn't mean they are light/pale shades.... they are just as bright as any other dyes we've used. Its just the shades are the pastel colors. After were were done tye-dying lots of different colors & patterns. Our favorites were the shirts dyed with these pastel dyes. The colors are really great!! We will definitely buy these again & again!

I liked that this product is really pastel colors. I got the clothing wet before hand and when they were damp I applied the dye, there was minimal waste, I did about 8 garments including sweaters. I left some of the left over dye sitting on my counter for 2 weeks and used it again on more shirts and it still came out amazing. Will buy again.

This kit was inexpensive but it was a perfect kit. We did about 15 pieces of clothing! The colors are amazing and just what we were looking for. It was easy to use for my 8 and 4 year olds.
