I purchased the same watch (with white lettering) five years ago. It has worked flawlessly. I purchased this watch because I felt the battery life should go run out before long (it is still running). Having said that, the watch has kept extremely accurate time for the time I have owned it.It is attractive, rugged, and light weight. You can't go wrong with this one.

This watch looks and works as-listed. I have the SKM-1155 yellow (it's actually gold-colored) trim version. Very basic functions, all working correctly. As others have said, instructions don't show how to set the analog hands (but it becomes obvious when pulling out the crown / knob), nor how to change the battery (will cross that bridge when I get there). The light feature only illuminates the digital numerals / characters, but not the analog hands area. I don't understand why this and several other similar watch postings include the terminology "S-Shock" in their title, as this watch is NOT a S-Shock brand or model. I bought this SKMEI to replace a real S-Shock model by ALIKE, which I picked-up in Shanghai for about US$9.00. That one lasted only about 27 months before the analog hands stopped keeping time, being used ONLY as a weekend jogging watch. I suspect for under $14, and per some of the feedback comments, this SKMEI will not be any more reliable, but we shall see with time, with it still working after 1 full week using it on a hiking trip. The only negative I have experienced so far is that when pulling a long-sleeve shirt or jacket over the watch it catches / snags on it, where the profile of my prior ALIKE watch was a little less edgy and proud so it allowed clothing to slip over it fairly snag-free.

This watch is the best looking watch of this type that I have seen for a long time. I have had it for about a month, and it operates without any problems. The only comment that I could suggest to the manufacturer is that they make the date, the day of the week, and the 24 hour numbers and letters to have a more brilliant white finish. On the watch I received, I have to stop and get the watch under a light to really see these items clearly. But.....I sure cant't complain about the price. Hope they can solve this problem, and I will purchase another one.

I love the looks of this watch, and for the first week it worked great. Then the second had would stick,, and then it started flopping all over the place and not usable at all. Since I use the second hand at work daily this was a big disappointment. I have since sent it back and will most likely not purchase another one! I realize that is was an inexpensive watch, but it should have lasted longer than a week!

Very nice watch and was fairly easy to set. You may have to do the settings a few times to get the hang of it. Well made for the price. You cannot go wrong with the price. I use to go out and get great comments. Nice and large.

Review is mixed, watch looks good, the weight is good. The hands on watch don't glow in the dark. Digital read out is smaller than I was expecting but I'm 62 and wear readers to see small things. Not tested in water but I will soon.For the money I'm not really that disappointed.I wear watch daily. Only had it 2 weeks.

I like the watch in general as a cheap or economy version copy of another better or more expensive brand, it might pass as good quality or higher end watch at a glance, but would still be a safe alternative.As far as how long the battery lasts or anything like that, I've had it for about 6 mos to a year wearing off and on, and haven't had any problems.
