Nice'n Easy Permanent Hair Color Medium Natural Brown 5N

I have used the 118A Nice'n Easy for years and like it better than any other hair coloring. The 118A is perfect for me. Oddly enough the 118, which is also a medium brown shade, is too dark. The Neutral Brown is a much more subtle tone. The color lasts and the package includes a tube of color safe conditioner to use once a weak to keep it fresh. I usually don't need to color again for 6 weeks or so (roots instructions) Worth a try for anyone who wants a coloring that is hassle free and inexpensive.

I have used this product for years but this particular box must have been old because it was very thick and my hair started falling out after I used it. I am very disappointed. If you are selling old hair color you need to make sure it is not out dated or expired!

Great color, easy to use.

I had been getting my hair professionally colored for years! However, as I got older and the silver hairs started shining through, I knew something had to change. Losing hope and gaining gray & silver hairs, I gave the natural medium brown (5N/118A) a go. I have a few observations to share: 1. The fumes are really strong! Apply in a well vetilated area. 2. If you have über stubborn gray/silver hairs like I do, keep the product on for 45 to 50 minutes. I received excellent coverage up to 5 weeks! 3. When it's time to rinse your hair - it takes about three minutes for the water to run clear before you can apply the ColorSeal Conditioning Gloss; which smells quite lovely btw. Overall, very easy to use, provides great coverage, and makes your hair beautifully shiny! When I went to my stylist for a haircut two weeks ago, she commented on how good my hair looked. I love this product so much I bought the root touch-up (color 5) & three packs of the dye for the next few times I need to color! Clairol sent me a free sample of color in exchange for an honest opinion of their product as a member of BzzAgent.

I've been using this product for over ten years. It was the only dye I'd found that didn't smell lime flowers. It was simple, not fancy but effective. Well the company ruined a good thing and lost a customer. The new "improved" product is creme, and smells like flowers! I'm allergic to highly scented items and cannot use them. I used my usual shade, medium brown and my husband agrees with me it literally stinks! I feel like I'm trapped at a funeral home! The creme was a mess to apply. It looked funny...orangey as I waited for the time before rinse. My head was irritated as I waited to rinse which I didn't have before the change of formula. Please help me find a new product ladies because I cannot use this one anymore. I'm so upset!
