STUNNER AT A GREAT PRiCE iN A SWiSS FULL-ON DiVER !
these come in a number of dial and bezel colors, and this is the one i chose, on the thick rubber strap.coming with a great hi-beat Swiss movement, and indeed made in Switzerland, you'll not find a better price for that combo than on this watch.BUT what really makes this a special piece are the clear 70s retro cues. if you like smaller dive watches, or more classic submariner styles (which i do) but aren't also into the big square 70s style cases, than this won't be for you. it is BiG on the wrist, and even with the rubber strap a heavier block of steel. with the 120 click bezel sloping downward to the outside, it's a mountain of steel and sapphire on your wrist.the rotating bezel operates smooth and is aligned perfectly...both as well as any Swiss diver you'll find at any price. like most Swiss or Japanese divers, it comes out of the box about 10 to 15sec fast per day, but can easily be adjusted by a watchmaker down to COSC chronometer standards of 5 or less sec fast per day (probably cost you $50 at most). i just wear mine as is, mainly because all my Swiss and Japanese divers are also 10-15sec fast and i just live with it.the square case design is joined with another classic 70s cue, a BiG canister looking knurled screwdown crown which is one of the coolest retro crowns on any diver made these days. you might need to travel in the Wayback machine to find one as true to the originals of the era.the only thing i could do without on these is the cyclops window, which has fallen out of favor, and is also more a design element on the classic submariner style divers. if it really bothered me i could eventually have it swapped out for a non-cyclops version...but it's not enough of an issue to keep me from one of the coolest and most cost friendly retro Swiss divers anywhere.highly recommended piece, these normally go from $400 to $550 on various websites and at various times, but are often sold out and unavailable, so if you like it i'd get it at any price under $600, tho it's a deal compared to most Swiss divers at any price under $800.
