Decent for practice, good sword for the price.
Went with the tomoe koshirae as it is my school's symbol. Pleased with the sword. As expected of Musha, decent steel, not in the best of polish, but its through hardened 1045, no rattles, fittings are tight. This model didn't come with the wire brush hamon. Decent fuchi/kashira, but the tsukamaki on it is loose. This personally doesn't concern me since I prefer to wrap my own tsuka, but if you're not able to swap your wraps, you may want to avoid it. Saya fits the sword well, but the koiguchi has a decorative metal fitting. It looks nice, but causes noto to be loud. These swords are light cutters only. The kisaki do not hold up well to mid-heavy targets, and they tend to take sets if your form is off. I intend to use it for Iaido practice. For the price, it is a decent practice sword.

Bad quality control
I have purchased four of these Musha budget swords, and the one from 1swords is the worst quality one yet. I don’t know if this particular sword was just dumb luck or if the reseller got it at an even cheaper price, because it had looses fittings out of the box causing the sword to almost be stuck in the saya, due to the extremely poor fit of the Hibaki. The opening on the saya or koiguchi looks like they hammered the sword to force fit the hibaki. I understand that this is a very budget sword, but the other three Musha swords I own are at least suitable for light cutting. I wouldn’t trust this particular sword to not fly apart in my hands while just swinging it. That being said. 1sword was responsive, and after I sent the defective unit back was issued a full refund. Sometime you get a $60 sword and exceeds expectations, and sometime you get one that would be an embarrassing wall hanger.
