Hydroxyapatite Toothpaste Whitening, Fluoride Free (4.7oz, 2-Pack)

Been using this for 6 years and I can’t imagine going back to big name brand pastes. Takes getting used to because it doesn’t foam quite as easily as those other brands, but it’s the best, and tastes great.

The mint is not overbearing, so it is perfect for me. The orange citrus is has a pretty good taste. Smells good too. Worth the price, you can tell it's expensive when you use it.

I like this toothpaste a lot as a more natural, fluoride-free product. The peppermint flavor is great. I don't think I'd buy the Citrus Mint flavor again, but it's not so bad that I won't use this tube. I haven't seen much whitening but it's definitely good for cleaning. It does not have a gritty texture either.

Dr. Squatch produces a chemical-free alternative to traditional toothpastes, opting for hydroxyapatite rather than the traditionally used fluoride. At the time I purchased the two tubes were separated based on “morning” and “night” usage so I figured I’d be fine to buy a two pack. They have since changed removed the insistence on separate between night and day and thus you might opt to buy one over the other, instead. The toothpaste itself doesn’t lather or foam as much as traditional toothpastes and when I use an electric toothbrush I end up spitting out a glob that hung out on my tongue while I brushed my teeth with the remaining juices. When I use a manual toothbrush, though, this problem is resolved and the foaming is back. The difference between a typical mint flavour and the “citrus” or “spearmint” categories is subtle, but good. The two pastes should last you a hot minute, I’ve had mine for like 2-ish months and they’re nowhere near their end. They’ll probably last me 6+ months. The only other issue is that after taxes you are ultimately paying $25 for two tubes of toothpaste. Whether that is worth it or not is highly subjective, but it’s a pretty penny for a decent product at the end of the day. For me, I think you are mostly paying for the brand and variety here. I will probably alternate these with a sensitivity toothpaste for now. Not sure how willing I am to continue paying this price long term but we will see.

I am a middle-aged adult with braces. My first orthodontist did not know what he was doing, so I had to go to a second one, who also made mistakes. I have had braces taken off twice and put back on three times in the last five years. The grinding, gluing, and etching has left my teeth feeling extremely exposed. Even touching the side of my tooth with my fingernail caused a zing. Brushing my teeth was not pleasant. Have tried several other brands of hydroxyapatite toothpaste, but did not notice any difference in my sensitivity levels. I decided to try this one after reading some good reviews. I was quite shocked at how quickly this minimized my tooth sensitivity. I noticed a difference after using it maybe twice, and it has continued to improve with further use. I would definitely recommend this product for that reason alone. Seems like a pretty normal brushing experience in all other regards.

it actually works what i mean is my teeth are getting whiter it’s amazing it tastes good it feels good and it’s so worth it i may take a few weeks for you to really notice a difference but it works i promise it worked for me at least

Definitely not cheap but definitely worth it. I was a Sensodyne user and my teeth still would hurt if I would eat or drink something cold but I started using these 5-6 years ago and I honestly haven't looked back. My teeth never hurt drinking or eating anything cold anymore. Also it gives you a nice clean and fresh feeling every morning and night.

No joke taste good and I had two cavities starting and for years nothing. I’ve used this toothpaste like 4 times and they are almost gone and my mouth feels better
