Vet-KEM Ovitrol 3-Pack X-Tend Pest Control Spot on for Dog

I hate that I have to put a chemical on my buddy, but we live in the woods where it's too hard to keep up with natural methods for Tick repellent . But, in my research, this product seemed to be safest for dogs. Not super toxic, like Frontline, K9 Advantix, Seresto, or most any of the others. And it works.

I am at my wits end with trying to kill the fleas on my dog. I have tried over 10 natural remedies and 3 toxic/chemical ones. This is one of those chemical ones. Because it says "works within 15 minutes," I thought I would give it a try. But no, did not work within 15 minutes or 15 days. Now I have to wait another 15 days before I can put something else on my dog.Their Customer support is pretty good and they are knowledgeable. I appreciate that. This, nor Frontline had any effect on my dog's fleas.

i found a dead tick on my dog thanks to this medication. No fleas no ticks outbreaks !!!!! This is my second time purchasing this product, i highly recommend it. I am a Petco Animal Supplies employee and yes the product is a bit greasy , but my cousin's dog came to her home with fleas and i gave her dog this and it was amazing worked within hours! My vet is the one who originally gave it to me. i have a 13lbs Shih-tsu , he is 1year and 9 months and we play out in the backyard daily .

First the bad.This stuff is a lot messier/greasier if you are used to using Frontline.The GoodIf you have a tick issue in your area (which I do), this stuff kills ticks much faster so those little suckers have less time to feed off your dogs, and less of a chance to make it into your home alive. I live in a tick infested wooded area and frontline just was not working fast enough.In addition to working faster it is more reasonably priced.

Awesome product. You'll only know this if you try it though. Your dog will love you for it. Works very well. Would definitely buy again.

Did not kill fleas on my dog. A few days after applying, I had to bathe her and then again in two weeks, she was scratching all over and had more fleas! They are immune to the ingredients, and this does not work.

This stuff does not work, don’t buy it.
