Why does it have a low battery indicator?

I checked the SKU # on the mouse that I bought and it is the same as on the current one for sale. I can only guess that Tecknet uses the same mouse for a wireless model that would be equipped with a low battery light. Mine is definately a wired model and as far as I can see has no low battery lite.

Does the scroll wheel move smoothly? I previously bought a similar product like this design, but the scrolling wheel doesn’t feel normal

I had bought the same mouse in gray/black a couple years ago and just bought a second one in black/black. The old mouse worked flawless and really like it. However, the scroll wheel on the new mouse feels rougher than the one on the older mouse. Otherwise operation is excellent.
