Bryan Peterson - Never disappoints
Always happy to read Bryan Peterson books.📕Just little annoyed with vendor for providing book with little scratches and torn mark on binding outside.

Fantastic read
Another awesome book by Bryan, this is my 4th book by him and the way he explains photography and his techniques is in my opinion a great read for new and experienced photographers

Very good book
Very informative book that gives a lot of information if you are starting out in portrait photography, a more experienced photographer might not find so much information.

Great images with great helpful tips....
I bought this book for my wife who is a semi-professional photographer as a Christmas present. She loves the images and has learnt some new tips for an area she has previously not worked on so much. Highly recommend.

Misleading title
Disappointing. The tagline probably better describes the objective of this book than the actual title. Whilst I found the first half of the book fairly interesting, and had a few useful tips for photographing people, I felt it drifted further and further away from the core subject as it moved on. By the end, I felt the author was just padding it out to reach a prescribed page count, and any relevance to portraiture was pretty tenuous.Yes, there are some great photos in here, and some of the background detail is interesting to read but if you're looking for s book to teach you portraiture (which I was) then this misses the mark by a mile.I'm sorry I bought it.
