Budget saver, Plants did well, & They look good to boot!
I bought these to start a veggie garden on our deck. We live in a flood plane so I wasn't keen on planting things in the ground to have them flooded or drown. We also have copious amounts of rabbits hopping about so being able to keep things out of their reach was another motivator to do a container garden. When initially looking for pots I was a bit discouraged on the prices since I had a budget in mind of what I wanted to spend on supplies and most big pots were at least $20 a pot. Then I found these grow bags! I hadn't heard of them before, but I figured I'd give them a try since I couldn't find anything to beat the price. These bags are wonderful! I was able to grow tomatoes, peas, and lettuce easily and the handles were wonderful for transferring them from starting indoors to outside. I originally planned to use all 5 bags, but I decided to start small this year, so their ability to be folded and stored in a small space is a plus. The bags are nice and sturdy, though I did hear a slight ripping noise on one of the bag handles once, but I did kind of jerk on it while it was full of dirt and it's still holding up fine. I think they will last for a while if treated nicely. I'll probably buy a couple of the bigger 15 or 20 gal. bags for next year's tomatoes so they have more room to grow and maybe a blueberry bush. :DOverall I loved these and am excited to see how they fair in coming years. You do need to water regularly, especially in hot weather, but that's true of any container garden. They did seem to retain water well while letting excess drain out. I mixed my own potting soil using coir so that helped with water retention. All of the plants did well in the pots and I highly recommend them to anyone who needs a budget friendly pick to start a container garden. I also like how these look, there were other grow bags, but these looked the best to me as far as appearance and I'm happy with the decision to go with these. One note on sizing since that seemed to be an issue with other reviewers when I was ordering these. I went by the dimensions that were shown for the bags, not the capacity listed. There was one reviewer that explained the discrepancy on capacity that made sense, but by looking at the dimensions the size I ordered and received is what I anticipated.

Great quality but BEWARE of inaccurate sizing
Great quality but BEWARE of inaccurate sizing. There is a discrepancy between the "gallons" claimed and the reality of what it holds. I ordered the 10 gallon...transferred a plant in a 5 gallon bucket and had room for maybe 2 gallons of dirt (leaving 1 inch on the top) So a 10 gallon is really only around 8 at the most..that's to the very top. I wish someone on the reviews would have warned of this so I am putting this up to help anyone wondering what size to choose. These run small... love the quality and sturdiness of the bags..just remember to choose a larger size.

Love these! A frost warning last night had me grabbing them and quickly moving them to cover. So quick and easy, and plants seem to love them. I love the quality construction!
