I ordered this attempting to solve sweat getting in my eyes while wearing a hockey helmet, and as you know the cage in front makes wiping your eyes nearly impossible. Halo sweatband to the rescue. This product doesn't absorb sweat, rather re-directs it around your eyes using a thin layer of rubber material over the eyes. It works like a charm, and because it's so thin, it allows you to wear it inside a helmet without issue, and doesn't trap extra heat. There is no velcro or any kind of fastener in the back, so you have to tie it, but it stays put, and there is no fastener to wear out. Must have for cycling, hockey or any activity that requires the wear of a helmet. No comment on durability quite yet.

I use a halo headband on long bicycle rides. I no longer have problems with sunblock working it's way into my eyes. I purchased this item 2 years ago, but it has worked so well I thought I'd dig it up from my order history and give it a positive review.

Keeps sweat out of my eyes when biking.

I cycle A LOT and on long hot rides, my rolled bandannas get soaked. Then it's sweat in the eyes for the remainder of the ride. So I bought these to see if they would REALLY channel the sweat away from my eyes. I gave them a 4 star rating instead of 5 because I still get some sweat in my eyes, but at a much reduced rate and reduced frequency of wiping my eyes. They are a little pricey, and may not be perfect, but for me, they are worth it since I've not found a product that works better.

I used this for doing yardwork, and I guess some dirt clods were tossed up, leaving muddy stains. Absolutely nothing will take them out, which is a bit disappointing since I wouldn't wear it in public now for hiking. Otherwise it seems to work fine, funneling sweat away from my brow so it doesn't get in my eyes. Saturating it doesn't seem to be an issue.
