SODIAL(R) Chrome Tone Metal for Banjo Guitar Armrest

The piece took about a month to get here, but I knew that being as it was shipping from China.However, the piece comes wrapped in tissue paper and in a plastic bag for ultimate protection. Additionally, it comes with the two screws to attach it. (I forwent the screws it came with and used "1 in" screws instead. This was for extra stability as well as two small metal "shims" to wedge in the adjacent hangover edges.)Being as how this was made for a banjo, these arm rests will not fit the curvature of your guitar. It was not supposed to. Even armrests on high end model guitars "protrude" on the ends of the armrest, but I digress. It's not about fit, it's about comfort.It's an armrest that makes your guitar much more soft, comfortable, and easier to play with the "more-so-now" rounded edge. Plus it adds a element of an old reputable stature and class to instrument. To the contrary, as this is a 2015 model Epiphone "Wildkat."If you are looking for a sold mirror finished armrest without the protruding "nut-screw" top mounting piece; this is the armrest you are looking for. Don't believe me? The metal is heaver gauge than I was expecting and the plating seems good. However, there is a flat place on the crest of the curve that keeps the armrest from mounting flush with the banjo. Also, there are some rough edges should have been smoothed before it was plated.

bought it for a Gretsch Pro Jet. It's not quite got the same curvature, but I knew that to begin with. It looks great on my gold top guitar with chrome hardware.
