Sweet and aromatic

I have never used anything but vanilla extract before- but was inspired to buy this based on a cookbook I recently have been working my way through. I have to say, the scent and color and general richness has been a pleasant shift in some of our recipes and I am pleased to have tried it. I am not sure I will use it for everything or every recipe- but it certainly is different enough and rich enough to be worth the try!

Unfortunately, I would be happy to eat this with a spoon but I don’t think that so you’re meant to do it. So as an extra, it’s a little weak as a paste it’s really good, but you have to pretty much double lip to get a vanilla out of it.

Do NOT buy this vanilla bean paste! The ingredients list is inaccurate as other reviewers have noted. I notified Amazon of this as this is UNSAFE to post one set of ingredients to entice customers and to provide a provide a product with a completely different set of ingredients. Not only is it unsafe but it is unlawful in every state and US government (until further notice). Nevertheless, despite my alert to Amazon, this product remains available with inaccurate ingredients. The seller does not appear too keen on responding to the reviews about inaccurate either. Keep looking for a responsible and responsive vendor.
