Post-Surgical Drain Patient Care Kit, Pink

I want to personally thank the inventor of the drain packet. After my surgery and unrelated I became ill and to had to go to the ER with a severe stomach virus. Had I not had my new BFF drain packets I’d have been trying to keep the drains up while getting sick in the restroom. Five STARS and TEXAS size hugs and Thank You!!!!

5 days ago I had a bilateral mastectomy. The whole diagnosis "Breast Cancer" is scary and stressful enough. But there are soooo many "little" things that make the whole journey even harder.Taking care of up to 4 drains after surgery is one of those things. I intended to make my own holders but then ran out of time. So I ordered these. And they are amazing!!! The pain meds I got made me pretty foggy and I don't even want to imagine having to deal with safety pins in that state of mind! Several nurses in the hospital and at my PS office asked me about them and where I got them. The one for the shower allowed me to shower by myself only 4 days after surgery. I will make myself something similar with a few changes and in dark blue (a little more discreet) but I am so happy I got these. I don't agree that they are cheaply made - I've been wearing them for 4 days straight. And I'm sure I will even be able to pass them along once I got my drains out. I even had them in the wash before I started using them.If you want to get something for someone who is about to have this horrible surgery, this is what you should get!

I had Breast Augmentation with Lift, my doctor connected drains under each breast.I received so many compliments from staff members at my surgeons office, and at work.I really like the shower bag that came with it too.

This belt has worked well to easily hold four drainage tubes-2 in each pocket, after my bilateral mastectomy 21/2 weeks ago. The only thing that would have been helpful was to have the pockets movable so that I could have slid them around on the strap to hold on the side or more in the front etc depending on what I was wearing or how I was laying etc. the pockets are sewn in place so I couldn't slide them around the belt to reposition them. They worked well as is though so I do recommend getting overall especially as it comes with a plastic shower pouch. And it's so cute pink and white polka dots. My doctor and the nurses really like it.

I had a double mastectomy with reconstruction four days ago and I LOVE this belt to hold my drains. I was given several "drain shirts" from friends, but they held the drains too high next to my body so the tubes bunched up. Also, I was always worried about them falling out of the pockets of the shirt. With this "holster" design, the drains are just in front of me so I never worry about rolling into them. I can also wear my favorite pajamas and not an ugly shirt with drain pockets. The drain holders have snaps so I don't worry about them falling out. While I loathe the color pink and would prefer if this came in other colors, it's a wonderfully functional product. I don't even feel that I'm wearing it! So light and comfortable. Excellent product. I would highly recommend.

There are no words adequate enough to convey how much "the little things" mean in hard times. This belt was the best thing ever! It made mobility so much easier & more comfortable. I was less embarrassed & self-conscious, more willing to venture out. They made household chores much easier, didn't need safety pins so no holes in my blouses, drains felt secure & tucked in so no worries about them falling out or coming loose. The belt was comfortable & adjustable, easy to take on & off. I liked the sass of the pink & white polka dots. Not exactly discrete but playful. Lots if people thought I was attempting to "bring the fannie pack back". Lol - not a chance. :-) Anyway, these were definitely worth the expense & more useful than I ever imagined. The sellers were kind & delivery was super quick.

I was preparing for my mastectomy, and I saw this and thought I'd give it a try...I am SO glad that I did! It made dealing with the drains much easier, plus the cute design made me feel a little better.

Best item ever! Comfortable and also comes with a bag for the shower. I cannot recommend this enough!
