this book contains a lot of information on Rollo, the first duke of Normandy and the ancestor of the British royal family and so many of us in the English speaking world. it fills in a large gap for me in the story of Rollo and his descendants,the Dukes of Normandy, including William the Conqueror, otherwise known as King William I of England. highly recommended for those that want to know more about the background of the famous treaty of Saint-Clair-sur-Epte and a general background on vikings of the time. plenty of illustrations. thanks for this Ben! more please.

This is a terrible book and not worth one tenth o the price. It is more like a pamphlet than a book. There are 56 pages in a large font (no page numbers so I had to count them). The illustrations are poorly done and almost comical. Don't bother with this one!
