New Fuel Gas Filler Door for 2008-2019 Dodge Challenger Matte Black Vapor Edition 68250120AA

Looks great and very easy to install. Why not five stars? Because I’m picky, the Fuel circle decal is a little rough on the cut for me. But other than that, it’s a perfect Fit. It is very unnoticeable unless you inspect it like I did…So the installation is easy, just push the 4 push tabs on the installed OEM fuel door and pull straight out. Look at the new fuel lid to get an idea of the locations of the push tabs. Slide your hand between the fender body and plastic splash guard (not mush room but you can do it if I can, I have XL hands). There is a rubber boot that seals the fuel line to the door. It will pop out with some force so be very careful and pull straight out because you can scuff or scratch your car if your pull down once it pops out. Once it is out pull the gas cap out carefully from the OEM lid assembly and install it on your new aftermarket fuel door assembly. Put a little grease or spray lube on the new rubber boot and use the two alignment pins next to the lid hinge to guide the assembly into the proper alignment ….. And pop it back in…. Took me under 10 minJust a FYI you can sell the OEM fuel door but I found it cool to keep it in the garage as MOPAR memorabilia.

Essentially this is the factory fuel door at a fraction of the price. I can find no difference between the quality and build of this and the chrome one I'm replacing. Save your money - buy this - not the dealer part.

Installed part, peeled protective plastic. noticed blemish. too much pia to remove, replace original and return the part for another. just be aware. is good price i suppose compared to oem, but if you want blemish free, remember my complaint. see pic, to right of "L" in FUEL. looks fine from 50 feet away

Very easy to install, I just followed a tutorial on YouTube. The gas cap does fade after a while, so I recommend buying a product that will help it maintain that original dark color and not the ashy color it can turn into. I haven’t had any issues besides the fading. It looks so much better on my car compared to the shiny silver cap

My Challenger has no chrome (painted grey 20" wheels) and switching this to the matte black cap on the Destroyer Grey color looks amazing. Fits great- no issues at all.
