So real!
I loved that Joe wrote about the early struggles of life on the road and how much he and Kait rely on each other’s strengths to work through problems. As well, having watched the videos almost from when they started it was interesting to go through some of the experiences again with more detail. I’m looking forward to the next book. I think the book is a must read for people considering this lifestyle.

Better Read than the 1st!
I wasn't a follower of We're the Russos during their Class A years so I was very interested to learn why they moved to a Class B RV Van. I follow them on YouTube as I moved towards retirement and started to build out my cargo can into a part time RV. The most time I spend on my van is a week at a time with an 8 day cooler that I can honestly day lasts 6 or 7 days. Why anyone would go from a motor home to a van needed understanding. Joe did that well with this book.I must say I appreciated the links at the end of each chapter that either highlight a particular area, museum or a particular trial by fire they had to endure. These links weren't always active in a Kindle HD 7th gen as it always loses its internet connection and has to be reestablished each time you pick it up. That means this is a book you can reference again and again just for the checklists, park overviews or museum information provided at the conclusion of each chapter. 7 miles per gallon is a lot of pain to endure. Roads you cannot traverse are another great reason for downsizing. While I have no need for an off road excursion or hiking trail, a diesel pusher would be just as more cumbersome! Good read, Joe Russo. Nicely documented.

Terrific Read
Once again, Joe has succeeded in the creation of a good story as well as an often emotional chronicle of his and Kaits experiences living full time on the road in their large Class A motor home.Their thought processes—conceiving their move to a smaller rig, though somewhat unusual, may mirror that of many other full time travelers. Living in a motor home with more stuff than you need is tiring. Joe nailed it as he described stuffing empty spaces in their class A with things he then never used just because he could. He moved to embracing and enjoying minimalism as he packed their smaller Class B van.In his own voice, and there’s more than an echo of Kait in there behind most things he ends up doing, he’s done a terrific job. It feels like he’s overcome a natural diffidence to tell their story. I like it, their experiences to date are oddly inspirational for those of us who are full-timers and the wanna-bees too.
