Smolder Hand Soap - By The Blades Grim

Great Soap; addictive scent, for the scent to not be overwhelming is a plus, for the size of the bar to be underwhelming is a negative... while the shape of the bar is artsy, it does hide a little that it is pretty much half a bar.... the packaging picture is slightly misleading I have posted pics from a different perspective...I did not remove the plastic wrapper yet/ Don't get me wrong love the company, all their other products are great... not much soap for the money, not being Prime eligible... add the shipping, .... (Mine crumbled by another 10-20% using it for the first time...

if you love the smell of smolder then you will love this natural soap ,it says hand soap but I have used it in the shower and it leaves you feeling nice and clean and smelling great ,not to strong just a hint of the smell just enough for someone to say Wow you smell nice

As a handmade soap, it performs its duties very well. Performance is not an issue. I have had a "smolder" and even a "cinder" aftershave in the past. I really love the smolder scent so I thought I would try the bar soap to get that scent in the shower; sadly it is not scented in a strong enough way for my personal taste. At $7.99 a bar plus $3.99 shipping for a 3.5 oz bar of soap that works out to over $3.40 per oz. The soap works great, but for that price I am paying for the scent, which simply isn't there.

Soap smells great, just like the smolder you'd expect. The size of the soap is not a typical size you'd buy. For the price, this product was way too small. I'm talking 1/2 up to 3/4 size of a regular hand made soap. I feel a bit ripped off.

I look like a weirdo washing my hands coming out of the bathroom smelling my hand. Great smell you would expect from smolder and a great soap that doesn't dry the skin.

I haven't used any Blades Grim products before, however based on reviews on their shaving cream and cologne I really wanted to try out the "smolder" sent and boy was it worth it.Right out of the package the soap didn't smell amazing; it was definitely unique and "artisan", but not knock out amazing like I thought it was going to be. Don't be disappointed if this is your first reaction because everything changes after you actually use it. It leaves behind an absolutely wonderful warm scent that lasts for a surprisingly long time. It's a super light scent, so you won't be overpowered by it throughout the day. If you're not actively smelling yourself you probably won't notice it beyond a whiff of it every now and then, but that's definitely a positive. It's not going to replace your cologne or anything like that, but anyone who gets close to you will definitely compliment you on it. Its a great base scent.I'm definitely going to purchase this again, however there were a few problems with the soap itself. For one, it's a pretty small bar of soap. The one I got was really rough on one side, with large gaps and an overall "bouldery" look to it. My guess is that it was an edge piece from a big slab of soap so I'm fairly certain it's not going to be that way with the majority of bars. But because of that rough edge my bar was slightly smaller than normal and that was rather disappointing. In addition, it doesn't last very long. I used it sparingly, but it seemed like no time before it was all gone. For comparison, I also use Dove Beauty Bars (very manly) and they last about twice as long as this soap.Depite all that I still strongly recommend this soap. It just smells SO GOOD, and that alone makes up for its negitives. I'm definitely going to try out their other products.

This soap smells awesome while I think there should be more soap for the price. I use it to shower with and it lasts about a month so for the cost it's worth it.
