Beyond this period, there is a noticeable decline in its ability to filter out external odors, particularly diesel fumes. Comparison with Genuine Filter: When compared to the original genuine Infiniti cabin filter, the replacement product demonstrates significantly reduced efficacy in eliminating diesel odors, especially under conditions where the vehicle is exposed to concentrated external sources, such as highway driving. Limitations in Odor Control: Despite utilizing the air conditioning system in recirculation mode, the replacement filter fails to adequately prevent diesel odors from entering the cabin. This suggests that the filter may have inferior adsorption capacity, either due to lower quality activated charcoal or suboptimal filter design. This is my experience with it
