Common for a reason
I have never, and probably will never meet a guitar player who has not tried a Fender guitar pick. There are quite a few varieties. Personally I like Heavy gauge in the 358 (tear drop) shape. This is my secondary pick choice, which I use when not playing Dunlop Jazz III picks. The Fender 358 is narrower, more rounded, and about 1mm longer than the Jazz III. I'm not sure the thickness of the Fender Heavy, but I'm guessing it's about 1mm, so a little thinner by comparison.Fender really does an impressive job polishing and perfecting these picks. I have purchased about a dozen packs of different brands of picks to compare recently, and out of those, two or three packs had a defect. Not so with Fender. Out of my pack of 72 of my favorite pick, not a single one was flawed. If only I knew why I thought I needed so many!

Love 358s but they dont last long!
I've used these since the early 80s. I love em! Only problem is that fender must be making them with cheaper plastics or something. Its like they melt! I play my guitars an adverage 8 hours a day, somedays I have a guitar around my neck 14-16 hours a day. Yes I play professionally. I give them 4 stars because I love the 358 style, but, if I had my way, they would last a little more than one a set!I'll post pix latter to show how they wear!

I LOVE these picks!
Especially when I am playing surf music, I love these smaller sized picks. They are all I use on my electrics. They are are snappy, just rigid enough. They are great for playing my mandolin as well. Great feedback for the seller, too. Fast shipment, no worries! I would buy from this seller again.

Good quality, stiff, pick with a softer sound
I really like the textured grip area as smooth picks tend to slip around a bit in my fingers. The downside, (for me), to this pick is how it sounds when strumming. I think, due to the material it is made from, it creates a softer sound than a standard celluloid pick. I prefer the sound the celluloid pick makes when strumming. I also recently changed to using a medium stiff pick instead of the stiff or "Heavy" thickness.

Used these ages ago and re-discovered them. To me they have a feel not unlike a good thick, hearty fingernail (which unfortunately I do not possess). I like some other picks as well but these are so nice. One this I did notice is that my false harmonics are much easier to render. Why 72? Because it's a whole lot less expensive the 25cents per at the local music store.
