Good Value
This lived up to my expectations. It transfer my floppy disks fine and I was able to get them onto my computer. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a quick fix to getting old info on disks.

Really worked!!
This item worked just as it said. It plugged in and I was able to play! Oh the memories I brought up from these old floppy disc's. I only had 3 disc's that didn't work. But it said the disk itself isn't formatted. Working on seeing if I can fix that. You do have to back out and reload in between disc's but it only takes a few seconds! Perfect for a trip down memory lane.

Seemed good but old floppies were a challenge
It's cheap and it mostly worked. I think most people are buying this to use with some old floppy disks in a shoe box as I did; my experience was as follows. Some disks showed files but the drive could not read them. Others would error in the middle of copying files (I forgot how slow floppies were) and retrying mid copy never worked but starting over sometimes worked. Some disks sounded different than others and a smack to the top of the unit got the disk spinning and then worked. The manual warns that a high power USB port is recommended. I did not have any trouble with either usb3 or usb2 ports on my PC or laptop (the stuck disk occured on USB 3 on PC so pretty sure the drive got full power).Some files would report they were copied but would be corrupt. I am fairly certain these are limitations of floppies (especially 20+ year old ones) and not this drive, but can't be sure. I could not find software for data/file recovery that worked with this drive. I got some treasures out of my disks. Good luck!
