So I was trapped out of my apartment because I had lost my key fob. There was a gap under the door and it had a lever handle, so I thought an under-the-door tool might help me in. I had purchased these for a car repair and they were just waiting in the mail room. So I went to home depot, but a thin steel rod and some string, and used these to bend the rod into the right shape. They were strong, easy to use, and the adjustable size was very helpful. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on pliers, but these seem like they'll last me a while. And the tool worked. I was able to get into my apartment and save the $200 locksmith fee.

Well-built for all around general use. Good value for the money for noncommercial use. This tool should be functional for most who do not need professional grade tools which are prices a lot higher.

This was the case on the tool that I received: I would not have have purchased these pliers had I known that they were joined with a rivet. The rivet joint is sloppy, causing the jaws to be misaligned. The rivet joint cannot be easily tightened, except possibly by peening. Otherwise, the forgings (castings?) look like they are well finished and machined. The handle grips also look like a good feature.
