Nice smell but you have to use quite a bit to get strong smell.

Different from European cypress
Hinoki, to me, has more of a ground pepper smell to it. I'm an amateur so I don't know how to explain it.I greatly dislike sweet smelling oils. Hinoki has some sweet to it, but it's not powerful.I prefer spicy smelling oils and feel this one falls into that category.

Right out the box it smelled great. I was very happy. I added a few drops to the diffuser and turned on. At this moment it's been on for about 2 hours.. My office smells great, only thing, the scent is not as strong as an other Red Raspberry Essential Oil I use - Greensleeves. This seems to be maybe half the strength. It's not a bad thing as it still provides a pleasant scent but I will most likely be using more drops than the GreenSleeves Essential oil.Either way, this is still a bargain as it comes in a pack of two. Liked the smell for my broomstick decor but didn’t last as long as I would’ve thought but still good overall

I love it -I love the scent it’s natural sometimes we don’t know what exactly we’re going to get we have to remember that it is an essential oil and we should expect it to have the scent of plant it derived from multiple a 100xs

I don’t think this is Hinoki smell
I have known this is totally different smell that I was expected.I know buying diffuser oil is difficult.I have bought this oil two of them. I don’t know what todo that I don’t like smell -.

Douglas fir oil
Smells exactly as it should, sweet and aromatic, similar to grand fir. Scent strength is a bit on the weak side, however the oil is excellent quality.

Love this so much
Reminds me of walking through the forests of Vancouver Island. Just love it! Also it is really thick oil not like stuff I have had from other companies which was watery and deleted. Simply wonderful. Thank you.
