Hem Incense Sticks – 6 Fragrances (Lavender, White Sage, Frankincense, Dragon’s Blood, Palo Santo & Sandalwood) | 120 Sticks | Natural Aromatherapy for Meditation, Relaxation & Home Fragrance

This is the second time I have purchased this incense, to go with my fancy new wireless headphones and crystals I have just ordered for meditation, and they have not disappointed! I purchased these mainly because of the low price, however, these are a few of my all-time favorites from HEM, including "Moon" which has been a favorite incense of mine since the early 2000s! Each box contains 20 incense sticks. Each stick is handmade in India as stated on the box, and these sticks are approximately 9 inches (23 cm) long. The BURN TIME is a whopping 30 minutes or so (approximately) per stick. It is very difficult to describe fragrances in writing, however, I shall do my best: Planet: Smells a bit like sandalwood and sage, with a hint of cedar in the back. It is actually very "earthy" for a celestial incense (get it?) but this one is AWESOME and I love burning it. The Sun: Extremely relaxing!! I love to use this while I'm meditating. Again, very earthy, but smells of real incense resins such as Copal, Frankincense, and Dragon's Blood. There is another note in the background I simply can't place, but it is sharp and fresh along with the scent of Copal, and possibly Frankincense and Dragon's Blood - it is very musky in a great way. I HIGHLY recommend this scent, my second favorite in the set after "Moon". Moon: My favorite incense for over 20 years, and one of the very first HEM incense fragrances I ever smelled, this one remains my all-time go-to for meditation incense. It is a very mysterious, white-musk type of fragrance with mellow undertones. There is almost a sea-spray type of fragrance in the background. It's very fresh and uplifting and works wonderful for meditation and relaxation - or just to make the room smell nice! Galaxy: This is the kind of scent that a person will either love or hate, it is VERY heavy on the florals, especially rose. It has perhaps a faint whiff of sandalwood and jasmine in the background, but it is predominately rose. I am not a fan of floral incenses, so this is probably my least favorite, but I have a friend that I know that would LOVE it as a Yule present! Star: This is easily another favorite of mine - and probably the most difficult to really be able to describe. I can say that out of many friends and family of mine who have had the opportunity to smell it, not one person did not love the fragrance of this incense. Not overpowering at all, but certainly smells WONDERFUL!!! My best guess at a fragrance is cedarwood, sage, and perhaps a hint of white musk with lavender. It easily ties for my favorite one from this set! I hope this helps you decide whether to purchase these or not, and I certainly enjoyed them and thought the value for the money was really good. Also makes a wonderful gift. Some of the fragrances also work very well when being burnt together such as Star and The Moon or The Moon and The Sun. None of them have the scent of burning wood, or burning leaves, and have nothing but pure fragrance - the smell of smoke is literally barely discernable! I highly recommend this set of incense sticks from HEM. Never disappointed after 20 years!

These smell amazing! I got them as a gift for my boyfriend’s aunt. I think she will love them! They seem like great quality. The scents also seem to be calming, which is definitely ideal!

1st time buying these incense. These incense SMELL PRETTY GOOD! The intensity of it wasn't overwhelming. My favorite one is probably the first rain. Did get a free sample inscent 👍🏽

A variety of wonderful scents for a great price! I bought this because I already loved The Moon and wanted to try out the rest. My favorite is The Planet because it's the most sweet-smelling, followed by The Moon, The Star, and Sun. I couldn't bring myself to light another one of The Galaxy. I'm not great at describing scent notes, but I can tell you it smells like some sort of animal urine. 😭

These are so much better than other ones. They smell great and last longer after they're done. The price is much better too.

These sticks last quite some time. Nice variety of fragrances. They really spruce up the scent of a room. I like them!

Made my house smell good

very DISAPPOINTED IN these incense sticks. They come beautifully boxed but as other reviewers mentioned, some of the sticks, for example "Pine" and "Cedar" don't give off much of a scent and I don't smell "pine" or "Cedar" when I burn either stick. I haven't tried them all as yet. The other thing I didn't like is the instructions on the box that says "dangerous," not to be inhaled and to use in a well ventilated area. This type of instruction the seller should make known in their description of the product as I would never have purchased it. My incense burner is much different than what most people use to burn incense. I purchased my incense burner at a craft fair. It was probably once a wine bottle and the crafty person painted it all black and drilled holes, one of each side. It came with a plain key ring and the way the incense burns is by placing the stick in both the top and bottom of the key ring and turning the incense stick upside down INSIDE the bottle. the both side of the keyring, lighting the insense stick and then placing it upside down in the bottle. The incense sticks burns by itself with the nice aroma coming out from the top and sides of the bottle. No worries that the incense stick is going to fall onto a table or carpet because it's upside down in the bottle and as the incense stick burns, all the ashes that fall off go right to the bottom of the bottle. My incense burner bottle has worked very nicely with other incense sticks I'v purchased locally but these incense sticks, at first I thought were going to be super as they are made in India and much thicker in width than ones I purchased locally, but these incense sticks tend to fizzle out sometimes only burning 1/4 way down and then go out. It's very annoying to have to pull the stick out and relight it. I usually use the sticks when I'm ready to sit down for the night to watch some relaxing TV. I also use tea lights or other electric candles to create a serene atmosphere while watching TV and I always enjoyed a nice scent burning along with my electric candles to give a warm ambiance to my living room but so far the Cedar and Pine and Rain Forest don't seem to give off much of a scent. I'm hoping the other 2 that I haven't tried yet I'll find give off better fragrance and don't burn out before they reach the end of the stick. Well the good part about these incense sticks is they were very reasonable in price but again, I'm the same reviewer that said and it's really true, "you get what you pay for." Buy cheap products, don't expect great results. Maybe the owner had these incense sticks in a moldy or dry area, like in a basement and they are old and lost their fragrance from sitting too long. Whatever the case may be, I think the law should require that sticks like these be stamped with an expiration date or labeled "Best if used by followed by a date." I never expected an incense stick to lose its fragrance, especially ones that were as well packed as these were. They came in beautiful boxes and inside each box the sticks are wrapped in like a special thin paper. It was even difficult to get the paper opened so it was disappointing once I got a stick or two out and light it with a big match that there wasn't a strong scent that should have smelled like its name "cedar," or "pine." Disappointing for fragrance especially since it seemed to be wrapped so well. Wouldn't purchase again.

Items came well. Delivery time was decent. Yet to try the sticks out but they look pretty good.

It arrived with the stick holder, all fine but the smell wasn’t good for me i tried all types where similar, i don’t recommend for people who used to bakhoor smell.
