We have 4 rescue dogs, who are all elderly but still try to jump up & down from their favorite window seat. Afraid they would hurt themselves, I have tried buying different pet stairs or ramps, but have been unhappy with all of them. Then I saw this, and although it is sold as a gymnastics item, it also works perfectly for a pet ramp. Our dogs are the small, less than 15#. (They are a mini dachshund & chihuahua mix, 2 miniature dachshunds & a miniature schnauzer, for your size reference.) We put this ramp by their favorite window seat, which is a bench. I find it superior to other pet stairs because they usually use the wimpy foam for that, which I can tell doesn't feel sturdy enough when they go to jump on it or walk on it. The same with the pet ramps, although we have a mini dachshund who had back surgery for Degenerative Disc Disease, and her vet said a ramp is much better for pets' shoulders, necks & backs than a stair-step device, because of their physiology. We try to be vigilant for our pets, and even had our outdoor staircase torn down & had a ramp put up, for their benefit. Must say, I prefer using a ramp, too! But this one is just for the little ones, lol.Note: if you are thinking of using this as a pet ramp too, do notice the dimensions & height, and check with what you plan to use it for, too. This might not work well for a bed, for example, because it is usually set higher up than a bench. They do sell other sizes, so just keep that in mind so you get the height you are looking for--and if you need a bigger, more sturdier one for a larger pet.Great quality multi-use item, with easy to clean vinyl covering. The color is a bit vibrant, so we will probably make a slip-cover for it that fits our decor. The dogs do seem to like the vinyl because they can find secure footing on it & not slip-slide their way down; and the foam used is sturdy & supportive, not the wimpy, airy kind. Fast S&H, very pleased with this item & highly recommend it!

We use this wedge for two purposes and it works great for both. It’s the perfect size for my 1 year old’s physical therapy exercises. It’s also great for adding a ramp or small slide to our foam play builds. It’s pretty sturdy for the kids and I like that’s it’s easily wipeable. The cover and foam are packaged separately, but are easy to put together.

We bought this as a gift for my 9-month twins (who are now a year old) christmas present. They have used this item to help stand up, we've practiced sliding, stretching and now play on it just for fun. We've also used it as a slide in our obstacle courses. It is perfect for young children however it is not huge and not made for older kids. I think we'll use these until they are about 4... maybe 5 depending on their height and weight.

Hours of entertainment fun! I ordered both the wedge and tunnel for my 9 month old baby thinking someday she'd grow into it, well that day she was all over them! The material is heavy duty and takes a beating from both baby and my 7 year old. My 7 year old also loves to build "forts" with them and needs frequent reminding that they are not her toys. Overall great value. I'm all about buying high quality toys that can be used for extensive periods of time. So often did we buy toys that were used maybe once if we got lucky. These are great, we'll be buying more foamnasium additions for her birthday!

I realize that this wedge is for kids however I do have a problem with edema as a result of a bacterial infection in my right foot and both my doctor and physical therapist tell me to keep my legs elevated as much as possible. Not wanting to spend a $100 or more on another wedge I took a chance on this one and it works very well for me. The vinyl cover appears to be heavy gauge and the foam seems to be of a medium density which makes it very comfortable. So this turn out to be a excellent purchase for me.
