Recently, we moved our oldest child into an underutilized sitting room/family room. He has a nice big window to look out of and he doesn’t have to share it. Because it is a sitting room, it never had overhead lighting. This solves our lighting problem! No more clamp-on lights with the switch on the base!The cord has an on/off switch in-line, and I use a knot to tie the cord to a hook on the ceiling. I thread or loop part of the cord around the curtain rod to keep the cord near the wall. The cord is about 12 feet long...long enough to reach from the outlet to the ceiling with cord to spare. He loves that he can now turn off his light right near his bed. Eventually, I will find a light bulb cover for it...something that will clamp on to the light bulb itself.Please note: While this review was written completely of my own volition, I received this product at a discount in exchange for an honest, unbiased review.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  This is a a convenient and inexpensive solution for my dark laundry room. It's well lighted on one end but the other end is somewhat dim. I don't want to pay to put in lighting because the room is unfinished, so this is the right solution for me. The cord is 12 feet. I didn't need all of the 12 feet, so I just took a twist tie and gathered up the excess cord. I like the on off switch, so I can leave it plugged in and then just use it when I need it.This takes a maximum 60 watt bulb. works with standard Incandescent, LED or CFL.I got my light a discount for the purposes of review.

Love love love these silicone covers! They are made of high quality silicone. Thin, flexible, but sturdy! They nestle into each other for space saving and easy storage. Being made of silicone, they are super easy to wash and make me feel better to use for safe cooking/food handling. You can use them in many scenarios in the kitchen, from the freezer, fridge, microwave, and even oven! One word of caution though, these can seal VERY well so they can produce unwanted pressure. I love using them most just to cover leftovers until I pack them away in the fridge. I've even been packing the entire bowl away with these as covers because the seal is so strong! You get so many lids of different sizes for a great price. I really recommend these lids! I received this item for free in exchange for an honest review.
