Walking in the Garden of Souls: George Anderson's Advice from the Hereafter, for Living in the Here and Now Paperback – 1 October 2002

This book is beautifully written and fully honours and acknowleges the depth of grief and the experience of the bereaved, while also offering and hope and comfort through a facsinating insight into the world beyond. This has been one of the most helpful books I have read on my grieving journey.

This was a most enjoyable read. As is often the case with George's books, you come away with your questions answered.

This book is wonderful as the authors, and particularly George, details in very straight forward language that the soul lives on, back to source, and that the soul continues to grow and to support loved ones who are still living on earth. I have been on my spiritual journey for nearly 2 decades, after falling off the religious wagon that had too many man made rules that became more stifling than actually supporting real growth for thje soul. There were a lot of wonderful insights that made me think as well as nod with acknowledgement of my own experiences. If you want to start or continue with your spiritual growth and you have a lot of questions then read this book. This book differs from other George's book as there are a lot less references to past readings, which was brilliant for this book, and much more insights. Right balance of explanation and references to other readings. Loved it, and the information was provided in an intelligent way that I found was not condescending at all. Loving messages and insight on what will happen to all of us once this life meanders to its end: conforting and uplifting that we do go back to source and makes so much sense of the big picture of my life, thus far. It is one of the best books out there that provides confort and insight. I dont understand why the kindle price is so much higher than the book price? I just gave my book version away and I am considering a kindle version.

A marvelously well written and compassionate book by one of the world's best known mediums. Two things are accomplised by those who read this book. First, we are given an inside look at the life of a medium. Many of us feel that they have a special connection with God, a certain insight that is unavailable to others or that they, in turn, feel like one of God's prophets. None of these issues could be futher from the truth. The author, like us, views his life as a journey of daily learning. Secondly, as my title suggests, this is an important book to be read by someone who is recently bereaved. It not only gives extrordinary hope for the one who has passed on but also the recognition by the author of the intense struggle that we all undergo when this occurs to us directly. Having worked so closely with so many recently departed souls the author gives encouraging examples of their journey and solace to those left behind.

Gift for a grieving friend. We have referred to this amazing book so many times and gotten so much comfort from its pages. We often recommend this book to others.
