No mess like a butter plate, and ,looks great!
I don't like leaving butter out, my mother always did and it was hard to spread. This has always been the perfect solution--a covered dish. So far it's working, always good to remember to wash the knife--it's a dairy product after all, prone to getting sour (ick). It goes well with the breadbox, about which I love the cutting board top as a thoughtful accessory. I am enjoying this pair of products in my kitchen and have received several compliments.
