Healthier and easy to store
I can’t believe it took me this long to realize there were reusable microwave popcorn solutions. With the recent data findings around possible carcinogens of microwave bagged popcorn, I was reluctant to go the stovetop route due to space and effort. We are fully converted off of bagged popcorn, and have been making bowls with this weekly for the last few months. Sturdy and easy to clean, though to note we do season in a different glass bowl as cleaning oils off silicone is difficult.Being collapsible is a great feature in our small apartment. Kernels pop consistently and well.

Fantastic way to make crisp popcorn-fast & clean.
I love popcorn. When an enthusiastic headline came up on my phone, I opened the article and read it. Mmmm, I thought, is this actually from the company that makes this product? The author was so excited about this new way to pop popcorn he called it the best ever. I did a bit more research and decided to buy and try. I ordered the smaller one, 4 quarts, poured the kernels into the measuring circle on the lid, dumped it into the bowl, put the lid on, stuck it in the microwave and viola, 2.5 minutes later, all done. Dry, crisp, delicious popcorn. So easy, so good. Drizzle whatever you want over it, usually good olive oil for me, and enjoy.Warning though, I use a towel to lift the bowl out as it is HOT. I also put the popcorn in another bowl which keeps the silicone one clean, rinse and store. Also I am using lots more popcorn now! I plan to take this with me on our RV road trip.I highly recommend it. I used to pop corn in a pan with oil. This is so much better-easier, cleaner, and faster. I am buying one for my granddaughter's birthday.

Great popper with a few flaws
Overall, I like this product and find it easy to use. I deducted one star because it has three flaws:1. Because the bowl and lid are flexible, it can be tough to get the lid on correctly, especially the first few times you use it. There’s a bit of a learning curve. That being said, I tried using the popper without completely securing the lid, and I observed absolutely no difference in the resulting popcorn. So don’t stress if you can’t get the lid on right every time.2. Because the bowl is flexible and gets quite hot, it can be hard to take it out of the microwave with hot pads and not spill the popcorn. Consequently, I recommend putting the popper inside a microwave-safe bowl.3. It is impossible to pop all of the kernels without burning some of the popcorn. So I usually settle for underpopping it to make sure it’s not burned.Otherwise, it works well and is very easy to clean. It’s also very easy to store, especially since the bowl collapses. I use it without oil or butter, so it helps me make very healthy snacks. I use it all the time and would definitely buy it again.

PERFECT GIFT for a POPCORN addict or anyone trying to avoid processed snack foods!
This is my second purchase - I have an older one in black that suffered through my learning curve (and older microwave) when I was figuring out how long to microwave, and overdid it. (I scorched the original, but it was perfectly useable, by the way. I just liked the pretty red!) PERFECT popcorn every time. Be aware that it will be hot when you remove it - you may want a dishtowel. I fill the bottom round with popcorn kernels - one layer only- and microwave for 3 minutes on normal level. Empty the popcorn in a bowl and drizzle - or spray - either avocado oil or good olive oil. Sprinkle with salt, nutritional yeast, spices, whatever your heart desires. Do not put the oil in with the popcorn when popping - I tried that, but it is not the best choice, and clean up is a pain. I can wipe it out with a paper towel or rinse with water, and it's good to go for another round.

Best popcorn popper I’ve ever had
I was skeptical - what could this silicon bowl do better that a regular pot on the stove? Turns out, it’s way better. The microwave cooks more evenly, and in this popper I’ve never had single a burnt kernel, but nor are there a ton of left over unpopped kernels! It’s so easy to use - just put in a couple tablespoons of oil (I use avocado oil, and add in a bit of salted butter). Put in the kernels, turn on the microwave, and voila, perfect popcorn every time! We’ve ended up using this a lot. It folds up small so it doesn’t take up much space, and can be washed in the dishwasher. Add a bag of organic kernels and you’ve got a great gift set.

So Easy to Use
My Mom loves popcorn but doesn't like the microwave bags and all the artificial butters on them. With this bowl, you simply pour the popcorn kernels in, microwave for a couple of minutes, depending on the size of your microwave and great popcorn with no artificial ingredients. This size is great for one person for snack time.

Not worth it
I have mixed feelings about this product. The instructions are not clear on how much popcorn to put in and the instructions basically say to listen for popping to slow down but to start with 2 minutes. It doesn't seem to matter how long I pop it for, there are always kernels that don't pop. If I keep the product in the microwave for 2 minutes, the popcorn burns but still unpopped kernels are present. If you are ok with wasting a bunch of kernels, the popcorn comes out ok. I would not buy this again.

Works great!
I wasn't sure if this bowl would work, but it turns out to produce great popcorn, and is super easy to use. I recommend getting the larger size, and just put in fewer corn kernels if only serving one or two people. Collapses almost flat, so doesn't take up much room.
