I had the chance to use the Wrenwane Digital Meat Thermometer a couple of times already but not to check the temperature of meat. I make my own yogurt at home which involves heating milk to just under a boil and allowing it to cool to a temperature range of 110 to 120 degrees Fahrenheit before stirring in the yogurt culture. Guess what? This digital meat thermometer is ideal to check the temperature of liquids, too. Just press the on/off button and dip the tip. Within a few seconds the temperature reading pops up so you'll know when you're good to go. Easy to clean, too. Wipe the prong with a soapy rag, rinse, being careful not to wet the electronic portion, then dry with a clean cloth and cap it until next time.

This is a very nice well-made thermometer. I tested it with ice water and boiling water and it is accurate within 0.5 degrees. It is simple to use, just push one button to turn it on, insert in the food and within a couple of seconds the temperature shows on the screen. Turns off automatically too. No features you don't need, just does the job nicely.

I’ve had many instant-read thermometers. Too many. They don’t last. But the Wrenwane thermometer is wonderful. It has a nice length, a reliable on/off button, a sturdy cap for the pointy end, and it is accurate! It is high quality, and I can tell it will last for a good while. It is also easy to clean.

Got a reading within 3 seconds, was accurate (Turkey was fully cooked) - CANNOT be used while in the oven (not a leave in thermometer).I had to look up what the thickest part of the meat was (first turkey) b/c I had no idea. Directions should always be written for first timers :) Even while cleaning it, it told me the water temp was 112° (F).

I had an old meat thermometer (not the instant read type) and it wasn't working so well so I ordered this instant read one, and I LOVE it! It totally saved my pork chops because it seemed like the oven in this new apartment was overly hot - and I was right! I checked them well before they should have been ready and they were already very well done (but still edible).

Previously, I had a shorter thermometer (digital) and twice it had to be replaced because it fell into liquid and got wet and the battery compartment was also problematic.THIS thermometer has a nice long spike, which is designed for meat, but I find it perfect for measuring the temperature when I am making yogurt or ricotta.

This is a great instant read thermometer, it actually provides an instant and accurate temperature. I've wanted one for quite sometime, but didn't want to spend a lot of money because it's not something that's absolutely required in life or cooking. Finally, I found a reasonably priced accurate one!
