Beautiful colors but the tension on your machine must be loosened or thread will break

Maybe its because I'm the only person who did not receive this for free to post a review but I absolutely hate this product.The thread is either extremely thick or incredibly thin so I cannot use it with my machine. The casing is very flimsy.Don't waste your money on this.

First I should disclose that I am not a seamstress and I do not have a sewing machine. I hand stitch alterations for my children occasionally and sew on missing buttons, repair holes, etc. So, I can not attest to the quality of the sewing thread or spools. I do know that it is made of polyester which is stronger than cotton thread. What I really love about this kit is the variety of colors. There are two spools of white, and it appears one spool is thicker thread than the other. There are also two black spools, one thicker and one thinner. There are pastels, vibrant colors, shades of brown, a metallic gold, metallic silver, and two multi colored spools! The thread comes in a thin plastic tray which fits in a thin plastic portable carrying case. Unfortunately, my thread storage case was coming apart right when I received it. It still works, and I will just tape up the corners. I am happy about having a good stock of thread to keep on hand for my occasional repairs. I would think this thread organizer would be a very nice gift to give someone who is starting their own household. I'm sure they would appreciate the variety of spools and the handiness of the see through storage case.I received this product free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

This is so much cooler than I expected it to be. I am really happy. It’s one of my favorite purchases in a while. Buying online, you never know exactly what you’re going to get, and this time I was pleasantly surprised. It comes with a plastic briefcase, of sorts, and you could use that for other things too. You could use it as a binder and put some papers in there. It’s transparent PVC soft plastic, so you can see all the different threads. They’re made of polyester, which is tougher and more durable than cotton. They’re big spools too. The actual tray the threads come on is a little like the tray store-bought cookies come on, so it’s not the most durable thing, but it’s alright.There are 39 shades, and there are some really cool ones. There’s neon yellow and neon pink and neon orange, very unique. There’s silver and gold that are really metallic. There are two multicolored threads— one is sort of bright a yellow, green, pink, blue, another is similar colors but with more orange, darker shades. I can’t figure out how much thread is on each spool, but it’s still a lot of thread total in the box. I’m really pleased with this. This is a wonderful assortment of sewing thread spools. It's full of 39 vibrant colors all in one neat package.  My mom recently purchased an embroidery machine that we have been trying to figure out how to use, and this sewing thread assortment has excited her enough to (finally) get someone to teach us how to use it.  With so many colors to choose from, we will be ready for any project - and I have a lot in mind.  My favorites are the multi-colored spools.  My sister's are the metallics.  The threads are not all the same thickness but are all strong and have some stretch to them, as embroidery thread should.As for the thread organizer itself, it has some good and bad points.  The container is transparent with an envelope-type flap that latches with a plastic snap.  It is lightweight and convenient for thread storage.  The tray inside, however, is very flimsy plastic.  It's the type of plastic that would normally be used to package products and be discarded once opened.  This was disappointing as I expected something more substantial and permanent.  Aside from this feature it's a really nice set and worth the buy for the thread alone.I received this product for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

This set of assorted thread colors is a great deal. It comes in a snapped envelope which is a plus for me because you can put a roll of thread back after use and they are easy to keep all together. I love that the colors of the set are the majority of my clothes color. You can't really go wrong with it because there are variety of colors to choose from so if you needed one for a clothing, you can surely find same color or close color in this thread set.
