Itās Exactly What I Wanted
My son wanted what he referred to as a āThor Hammerā for his birthday, so I proceeded to search for a Nerf-style Mjƶlnir. The actual Nerf Mjƶlnir shoots darts out the top of it (WTF Nerf?) so thatās wasnāt it. No mistake, we love us some Nerf guns, but Mjƶlnir isnāt a shooter. Anyway, everything I looked at seemed to be either hollow plastic or $300, until I came upon this product. The price was right, so I took the chance, & Iām glad I did. It is exactly what I had in mind when I was looking for the Nerf-style hammer. Itās a coated foam product (like the old Nerf footballs) with some sort of a solid core. It is a solid, surprisingly hefty Mjƶlnir & it hasnāt been more than 3 feet away from my sonās hands since we gave it to him. Itās only missing the leather at the bottom, which, with an 8 year old boy, wouldāve been destroyed anyway. My Uncle, a very fun & young-at-heart kind of guy (probably my sonās favorite person), was over visiting yesterday, picked it up, & said ādamn this is cool as hell...I need me one of theseā, so I just ordered another one. I highly recommend it.

Couldnāt be happier
My three year old son loves this toy. It sturdy enough to withstand him beating everything with it and soft enough where he doesnāt hurt himself.

Not a cheap knock off
Very good quality, thick sturdy foam. My son swings it around and throws it and it's held up well. This is more prop than toy but it'll last through wear and tear.

The mighty Mjolnir!
It seems relatively sturdy, I haven't like smacked anything or anyone with it. But it's a dense foam and feels heavier than it looks. There is some excess foam on the haft, which I trimmed down with nail clippers and gently used a nail file to take away the excess. Overall, enjoyable and fun to swing around. Looking forward to having this around during Halloween!
