It won't boost what your antenna picks up, it restores what your cable robs.

This is an amplifier you attach to your antenna that you've attached to your tv to get digital channels. It does amplify any signal you already receive from your antenna. Have no way of knowing if you will get more channels. I am less than 50 miles from farthest tv station transmitter and I receive 38. Without amplifier, it was 4.
