Product works as advertised, it is indeed plug and play for Windows 10.Can't attest much to the range or transfer speeds but I can say it works with just connecting it.Pairing takes less than 5 seconds, from plug to being connected to my phone, and transfer speeds are about 100 KB/s taking 20 seconds for 2 MB files, and 4 to 5 for 400 KB files.I dock 1 star because the instructions were not written by someone who speaks english fluidly, nor are they accurate, advertising 20-50 m range for it, which would be incredible even for $50 or $100 bluetooth devices.

*Update 10-2-17* Having had this some time now, I have to say while it works well, I find the constant bright blue blinking light deeply annoying. Irritating to the point I am buying a different dongle and will re-purpose this one or keep it as a back-up. I don't think it would be a problem in some applications, but it is used on an item I keep in my room and I have to put it away/cover it or I can see it strobing when I try to sleep.Purchased this dongle for laptop. Plug and play ease of installation. Allows for media audio at home or on the go without disturbing others or compromising my privacy. A good buy.Also, dongle is a great word.

This review is for Intcrown USB Bluetooth CSR 4.0.This device is very easy to use , no need to install any software, just plug and play.This bluetooth is very easy to pair, easily paired.It is compatible with wide variety of devices.The Bluetooth is very fast, which i liked most.It is light in weight and convenient and portable.The Bluetooth range is very good.Great product.

The built-in Bluetooth on my PC died. Bought the Intcrown USB Bluetooth 4.0 Micro Adapter, plugged it into a USB port (Windows 10) where it was immediately recognized, and, voila, earphones and speakers were back in business. Perfect.

Just what I needed for the laptop and desktop computers that are older and don't have bluetooth. Works great.

Best 7 dollars I have spent in a while. I just plugged it in a it was ready to go just like it says. I didn't even have to install any drivers
