This after-market toner produces sharp images and bright and subtle colors. A great value with great performance. Why pay for manufacturer prices?

Never had this happen before with other toner companies, but right at their "warranty date", the magenta toner cartridge started leaking. Even when printing in black and white, pink streaks everywhere. I wrote the customer service folks, but no help there as you can see in the photos. Too bad.

Performs pretty well and consistently and great value

I have been using this product for over five (5) years now and have never had a problem until recently. The magenta cartridge began putting red lines on the prints. I made Value Toner aware of it. Upon verifying me they sent another magenta cartridge to me but unfortunately it was returned to them because of damage in shipping. They offered me a credit on the cartridge however I shared with them that I would always be short a magenta cartridge then. They just notified that they were crediting me with my entire purchase on Amazon and that I should just simply order all four cartridges again. I was overwhelmed by the rapid response and flexibility. I will always buy my toner from Value Toner just as I have for the last 5 years.

In the remanufactured toner world you are bound to get a bad cartridge now and then. How the vendor handles the replacement is the difference between 3 and 5 stars. I ordered a 4 pack of HP 312x remanufactured toner. All good for about 3 months. Then magenta and cyan toners started to leak. By August, I called the customer support number listed on Amazon. I left a message with my Amazon order number, my phone and my issue. I really didn't expected get a call back back so I vacuumed inside where I could see powder. To my surprise, customer service did called me back the that afternoon. I said I vacuumed but I have no leaking for now. Let's give it a week. May be it's fine? No sooner than I hung up, toner started to leak again. I called back the Thursday before labor day. I received a call about 2pm Friday and Valuetoner would send replace magenta and blue toner at no charge. No. I did not have to return the leakers. Today, the Sunday before Labor day at about 6pm I receievd the replacement toner - not just 2 all 4. Given the speed of replacement and the lack of hassel I suggst you give them a try. I bought this set early which left me outside the return window. Three cartridges worked without issues. The colors that worked looked sharp and clean. The magenta failed. The printer would not recognize it. I ran every reset and cleaning step. Nothing fixed it. This looks like a defect. You should order closer to when you need replacements so you can return a bad unit if it shows up.

What I like: it works. HP detects it as non-HP, which is fine. It calibrated then printed a test sheet. No more streaks/spots like my last set of toner. What I don't like: Nothing yet. Will revise review if/when it leaks and test customer service. Last company's customer service (Toner Kingdom) was the absolute worst. Viva Toner or whatever was also bad. this is for a M476DW printer. Followed the directions. Parts fit. No problem.
