It does the same quality of work as the Bissell brand for 1/4 of the price.
I purchased my first H2O X5 Steam Cleaner 5 years ago when they first came out on the market. It lasted for 4 years of some rough usage. I used it to steam clean my walls, furniture, carpets, bathroom walls & fixtures, and cleaned my floors with it twice a week. I was so happy to see they are still making this steam cleaner. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this steam cleaner to any and all. It does the same quality of work as the Bissell brand for 1/4 of the price (so says my neighbor who bought this brand after her Bissell died after 18 months) The only drawback is the length of the hose. I wish they made the hose about a foot longer, it would make using it on walls and windows a lot easier.I have not been compensated for this review. I paid for my steam cleaner.

Need readers help with the Mop x-5
I used the new M X5 mop this morning. Two things are of great concern which need immediate attention: First, the on/off switch needs 5 or 6 pushes before the green light comes on. Eventually, this will cause a switch failure in the near future. IS THERE A PROBLEM WITH THE SWITCH? Secondly, the much-shortened electrical chord gets very hot after 3-5 minutes of use. DID YOU CHANGE THE GAUGE OF THE COPPER WIRINGS? I plan to post these questions to the Amazon readers for either confirmation or uniqueness. I'm curious if other users have had the same problem with the shortened chord being rather hot.

Not worth the Money!!
The cord is SUPER short so you really can't do floors with it without getting an extension cord. It took 20 mins to heat the water and the small amount of water put into it doesn't allow you to do bigger areas without having to refill it a lot. Not impressed and regretting this purchase.
