Chihuly 2015 Wall Calendar Calendar – Wall Calendar, August 12, 2014

A really beautiful calendar except for the last four months of current year...the printing is so tiny it is barely legible without a magnifying glass. However, once you arrive at the New Year and then forward, the print is great and then reading the calendar is not a challenge any longer. I am a fan of Chihuly and love looking at the glass art, this man is truly genius!

This is a gift for friend, whose favorite glass artist is Chihuly. He was thrilled when he opened his present. There are excellent photos of examples of Chihuly's smaller pieces. It's a great Christmas gift. Thanks

I usually opt for a quilt calendar, but I love Dale Chihuly glass so this was a no-brainer for 2015. The color reproduction seems wonderful and I'll be looking forward to each new month's photo.

Gave this Calendar to my sister - she had just been to a Chihuly exhibit, so it meant a lot to her. it'll look great in her new home in Florida.

Absolutely beautiful calendar showcasing some of Chihuly's stunning glass art. The quality of the card stock makes this a real keepsake.

I love his work so this calendar was a treat. Now I'm going to have to buy a book to get even more images.

If you like the work of Dale Chihuly (I appreciate he's an acquired taste, his work being described by at least one critic as "vulgar"), this is a beautiful calendar.The reason I have docked a star is that although it's a 16-month calendar, I was disappointed to find the 16 months ran from September 2014. I've always had a sort of personal superstition it's bad luck to hang a new calendar ahead of time - sort of tempting fate you might not get there, if you see what I mean. I don't know if this superstition is widely held, or peculiar to me. But anyway, I carefully saved the calendar and resisted looking 'til 1st Jan - it also gives you a small treat to look forward to after the festivities.So I was disappointed to find the first picture - of a beautiful glass vase/vessel - will never be displayed on my wall, as it covers the four months just passed of September to December. It's a small thing, I know, but I feel sort of cheated out of a picture. If I'd known, I would have opened the calendar immediately on receipt - even though that was already in December, so I still wouldn't have got a full month out of the picture.If a calendar runs from September, but you don't buy until December, shouldn't it already be discounted, to make up for the fact you've lost some of the use?True, the calendar proper (a picture per month) doesn't really begin until 1st Jan, as the first picture covered four months at a time. But I still think it should have been clearer the extra four months were of 2014, NOT 2016, meaning that if you hang it January, like most people, you'll get the conventional 12 months.That doesn't make it bad - I'd still have bought it if it was described as a 12-month calendar. Just if you get next year's, buy in August to hang in September!

What a delight to the senses this calendar is. Each image draws you to the artwork, and each time you look, you see something different.Bright and cheerful, it makes the wall space look somehow better.
