Not going to lie....it looks like a toy due to the size and color. I get weird looks from the passers. However, it makes it lighter and easy to use. I have small lawn, so this was the perfect solution. No electric cord to handle and no gas smell. Battery does last long. For storage, take the receptacle out, loosen and fold over the handle assembly, you can stand it up to minimize the space it takes. Height setting is easy to use plenty to control how short/high you want to cut. No complaints. Gave 4/5 star for the maneuverability because depending on whether the grass is really long or there is a slope, you need to give some power to move it. This is because motor is not connected to the wheels. Note that there is no power to the wheels, as with any economical lawn mower. If you have a good size lawn or have slopes, not sure if this one will work for you. Also, I try to minimize rolling it on pavements because since wheels are plastic. Easy enough to lift it and carry. Motor does make a proper lawn mower noise. It's not like a electrical car where synthetic noise has to be added due to the quietness. It actually sounds like a regular lawn mower. I was actually surprised by it. With small and flat lawn, this is the one to get. It's small, battery lasts long time, it cuts well, and storage takes no room. Loving it.

Well, I've been using this for a month now, and I continue to be impressed! Mind you, it's not for everybody; it would have drawbacks for some. I purchased it to get to the fiddly bits the riding mower won't reach, and to do a small lawn (about 15' x 65'). It only has 13" width, so wouldn't do for a big lawn, and I imagine the grass box would fill rather quickly. It's amazingly light and manoeverable, which is a huge plus; my gas mower that this one replaces was a bear to use in small areas. Some have complained that it keeps cutting out in heavy grass. I have it set at the highest setting (3", I think) because I don't want to "scalp" the lawn and stress the plants in our hot summers (another plus; the height adjustment is a single lever that sets all four wheels). I usually mow when the grass is about 5"-6", and if it starts to bog down, I tilt it so the front two wheels are clear of the ground, then lower it down again. So far it has never stalled out on me. While doing the edge bits of the main lawns, I keep the back flap propped open and leave the grass box off, or I'd be forever emptying it. Battery life is good, about 25-30 minutes run time, depending on the length of grass. It would be nice to get another battery, but I haven't yet; it gives me a reason to stop for a beer or two! The only issue I have, unfounded so far, is that it SEEMS to be so light and flimsy, I'm afraid the deck might crack over time. But, so far, no problems in that respect. Even if it only lasts the one season, I'll probably get another one; they're that good, for my application.

Pros : It's so light and easy to put together. It's quiet and extremely sleek. I haven't nowed a lawn since I was 12, and that was my dad's old hunk of junk that was gas powered and heavy! Cons : it wasnt the easiest to maneuver but it's also been about 30 years since I last mowed a lawn lol. The battery takes awhile to charge (at least to me), I have 1/4 acre and I needed to charge the battery 1 time before use and another time to complete my backyard and finish my front yard. . All in all, it was a great machine! I'll definitely be buying the 17" version when (hopefully) it goes on sale in the fall.

While this mower is light, maneuverable, and easy to put together, it is also quiet. Now, with only a 20 volt battery, it only lasts for a short time in 80 to 90 degree weather. I have about a quarter acre lot of grass to mow and most of that in the back. So in front there is the 3 foot wide strip from the road to the sidewalk. There is also another 6 feet by 100 feet area in front. To be able to mow this area takes 3 to 4 battery recharges. This has changed from mowing the lawn in a 45-minute job to trying to get the front done in one day and neglecting the back larger yard altogether. With only 6 uses id the mower at full charge I have found the blade is already dull. I also found a larger section in the middle that is blocked out so there is only about 3 inches of cutting space on either side of the rotating blade. i have never had a new mower need a new blade so soon. If you only need a small section of grass to be cut at about 75 square feet then this mower will work. The mower i was using was gas powered craftsman 21 inch yes it has a bigger area but didn't take as lone and my wife has allergies and is unable to mow the lawn. Would not recommend this to anyone unless, I really didn't like them and wanted to waste their time and money. My electric weed edger does a better job. included a side-by-side comparison to what I have been using. One other thing is i have not had gas or electric mower that worked with bagging my clippings. Side discharge would be better.

I'm a single mom of 4, and purchased my own home in Nov 22. I purchased this lawnmower, because it was in my price range, and looked small enough for me to handle, and was battery operated, so wouldn't have to worry about gas or cranking (memories of my childhood haunting me) lol. The colors were also appealing to me. It came in while I was at work. I came right home afterward, to get the battery on the charger while I still had to run to the grocery store. Came back home, put this bad boy together. Really easy assembly, and feels sturdy and really good quality. Once I got it going I was really surprised at how well it did. It was easy to start up (just hold the button and squeeze the handle), and as soon as you released the handle it shut down. My absolute favorite feature is the safety lock key. I have 2 toddlers, and they love to get into mischief. I dont have any worries about them accidently starting it up and getting hurt. They are really smart, and ornery. So having this feature makes me feel safe, and a little less stressed for them. The picture is a little dark, but I will get a better one in the morning. I can't wait to purchase more yard equipment. Looking at an edger and blower next. There is something so satisfying about taking care of your home, and Litheli makes it possible, easy, and fun. Thank you!

For a year I would have given this mower 5 stars for ease of use and battery life. It is however pretty fragile for a lawn mower. I have a pretty flat yard, but the axles are bent slightly int he front and the rear left wheel fell off. A component/spacer appears to be missing, but a DIY fix will patch up the issue. Just wish it was more durable and not built to be replaced every year. The blade stayed sharp longer than a regular mower, but after 18 months does need a good sharpening. It appears easy to remove though.

I ordered this 4 days ago and it came today already. It took about 10 minutes to put the handle together - the battery was partially charged but I charged it some more. Just got done mowing and it did a great job! The height is easy to adjust and the mower is very light so it maneuvers well. I had been using a basic reel mower because my yard is small but I got tired of raking clippings so the grass catcher is a life-saver. I've also got some uneven ground so pushing that old mower could be a pain at times but this little guy was effortless.

It's lightweight, easy to assemble, and maneuverable but that's about it. If you're looking for a lawnmower that is easy to get out of the box, this one's it. It works great on cement driveways, sitting perfectly still, or if your lawn is 5'x8' but any bigger than that, forget it! It constantly cuts out, even on one inch long grass! You have to recharge the battery every 10 minutes or so. You will get a decent cut if you borrow your neighbor's lawnmower. It's like it's allergic to grass or scared of it. It can't stand to be on grass, maybe it feels as if it will get hurt. This one just needs to be in the box where it's safe and warm and no one with human hands will touch it, ever! It looks good though, my neighbor commented how cute it was! I just wish it cut grass.

Had a battery issue in the beginning. But customer service was helpful in that regard. Since then, I used on weekly bases during spring and summer season, and so far it is working well. The machine is very light and easy to carry around. Fully charged battery runs about 30 minutes realistically, therefore it is optimal for small lawn. It suits on my need and I am satisfied with the purchase.

Light weight

The fact that there is 1 lever to adjust mowing height on all 4 tires at once is great, No spending time to adjust the height of each individual tire, There are things that should have came with it but didn't, There should have been something designed to fit in & stop grass cutting from going up in to the rear bag so it could be run without the grass catching bag on it, I would NOT suggest it be used without the grass catcher on it cause it would leave one heck of a mess in section behind the flap & in the under section going to the grass catching bag, After the 3rd use I noticed that the flap that is supposed to drag on the grass at the back of the mower to stop anything from flying out towards the users feet, One side of it was broken, cheap plastic broke where a screw is supposed to be, I would like to say I have 2 other 20 Volt Litheli tools & might buy 1 or 2 more (with the same battery's, However I must say that the Litheli company did NOT reply or answer any emails that I sent them not one & come on now many in this day an age say if a company does not reply to customers email the company does not look to good.

Can't recommend this. Put the mower together and adjusted the blade height - went to adjust it again and discovered the lever broke. This was in my living room, never even got to use it yet. Amazon sent a replacement and this time the height adjustment worked fine but when I took it outside to use, pushed it about a foot and saw the hubcap pop off. When I went to put it back on, saw the entire wheel had broken off the axel. I know this is plastic so it won't be as hardy as others but you would expect to get at least some regular use out of it but no luck - seems to be just cheap plastic. On a positive note, the 1 part it did cut was nice. Wanted one like this so I didn't need to deal with a cord or rhe hassle of a gas mower but I can't recommend this one at all, mine is being returned for a refund.
