ButterFox Smart Carrying Case for AirPods Max Headphones with Sleep Mode (Black/Red)

This case works great, has space for my lightning-3.5mm cable and iPod Nano, and has an ample zipper pocket. It is great value for the money, but one issue I can not overlook is the SMELL. It has a HORRIBLE chemical smell. I've left it outside for nearly three weeks and the smell has not abated at all. I've used fabric fresheners and even zipped it closed with a charcoal odor removing bag inside for 4 days. No relief. The ear foam on the Max absorbs this smell if the unit is in the case for too long. I hope another week outdoors will clear up the smell since it is a great case.

I love Butterfox products and this is no exception. It’s good looking, does what it says it’s going to do, and protects my Apple Air Pods. I like the thoughtful way they built in cable management. So, this is not a knock on Butterfox, because they did their best. But, I find that I can’t travel with my AirPods in this case, because it does not fit into my travel bag. So. BIG. That’s Apple’s fault more than Butterfox’s, but it makes it challenging to use them on planes, etc. I’m on the fence about whether to use the original “bra” case for travel, or just revert to my old headphones.

Thanks Apple! This is what SHOULD’VE been in the box when I paid for these. No one is going to spend the kind of money on headphones like these and walk around crying them using the headphone strap!I know there have been some complaints about the size of the case, tbh given that the headphones don’t fold up it really doesn’t matter to me, its no bigger than my Jabra headphone case I used to carry around. It goes in my backpack just fine with no issues. The case is about the size of my 11’ iPad Pro.The magnets inside do work as if you have them in the leather pouch, they will fit with them inside the pouch and in the case, if you’re into that crazy kind of protection.Given the price I’ve had no issues yet and its a great value to make sure this expensive purchase is well protected.

I was concerned about this case being able to fit the AirPod Max inside the case that came with the headphones while the headphones had protective silicone wraps on them. But everything fits in the case so I’m happy. Love the extra pocket that holds the charging cable. These headphones aren’t cheap, so I feel safe protecting this very expensive investment in this case when I travel. Everything looks fitted and clean and I’d recommend this to anyone.

The case is great my Airpods Max fit great aithout having to adjust them every time. Love the case but….. The handle is horrible so if you need a handle on your case to carry around this one definitely isnt for you. I returned the first one thinking it was a faulty handle but even the replacement case that i received had the handle ripping off with little to no pressure from one side. If that doesnt matter to you its a great case and you will love it!

Yes, it is an Apple issue. Not the cases fault, but they should document that for folks, like me, who never bothered with Apple's silly case.Otherwise, a very nice case.

The case feels really firm when you squeeze it, so it feels nice and sturdy and that the headphones are safe in there. I’d have no problem putting this in a suitcase or even carrying it by itself. I like the feel of the outside material as well, it’s similar to most suitcases and seems durable enough that it won’t tear or fray for a very long time. It’s also snug on the inside, there’s really no wasted space for the headphones to move around. They fit the AirPods Max perfectly.

This case is great! Very protective and well made. It fits the APM headphones with the little cover Apple provides. It has a zippered pouch inside that is the full size of the case, so you can fit several electronic accessories in it, it’s big enough to fit an iPhone Max, passport, wallet, and a few cables easily. It also has a carrying handle which is very handy. The only Con is that it’s pretty big. I think this is the best protective case you can buy for the AirPod Max.

It is the perfect Case for my AirPods Max Headphones. Fun to cary around too, when you feel safe for the headphones.

This is a very nice hard case that is well built. It will put your AirPods max to sleep using the magnets which you can also take off if you so desire.
