While we take things like combs and hair brushes for granted, generally, and buy them casually, as one would buy anything expendable. But, when you consider that you use a hairbrush at least once a day, while making your mirror reflection as presentable to others as possible, it is nice to make the experience enjoyable. This brush is made for discerning people who value quality in things like tools, cars, furniture, pens and other things we live with. It is a time-honored brand, that has rmained a classic for many generations. The bristles are genuine boar-bristle, which aee at once strong and firm, and yet soft and pliable so that they don't dig into your scalp, but bring order to the most unruly hair. Even the wooden handle is of fine wood, and finished like a piece o fine furniture. It is made for the person who wants an excellent tool, and one that makes him feel important as he prepares for the day ahead. It is worth the slight difference in price to own the best and to use it with pride. I was looking for a replacement for my old brush when the bristles wore down, and began my search on Amazon, where a large selection of brushes was available. And this one was even on sale that week! I'm considering buying an extra one to keep in my car, for windy days.

Good for fine hair

This guy is high quality and high performance, wrapped in a high class package complete with British "By Royal Appointment" emblem on the handle. This brush is easy on the scalp, even for those of us with some minor hair management issues. It feels good in the hand, with just a bit of heft. I like the way my hair looks, somewhat fuller and definitely parallel after use. It is expensive but worth the money. Having used it for some months now, I think it will last a loooong time. I recommend it to you.

My husband used a similar Fuller Brush for 40 years, until the thing was threadbare and sad. He wanted another brush that would last a lifetime. THIS.IS.IT. This brush is beautiful, soft, and does the job just like his much-loved former hairbrush. Delivery from London took about 2 weeks, even though I was told it might take a month. The only issue I had with the ordering process is that I only learned of the 4-week delivery estimate after I ordered the brush. I would like to have been informed of that issue beforehand. This was a Valentine's Day gift and, needless to say, it was late due to this lack of information. Otherwise, we are both very pleased with this hairbrush. That is the reason for the reduction from five stars to four stars.

When the brush arrived the label on the bag x said for fine or thinning hair. No where was this mentioned in the description.

All Kent items are great. Unfortunately I was under the impression that I was getting a five inch brush but that was not the case. I was sent the regular size brush and that is not what I wanted.

This was my first foray into actually spending money on a hairbrush and while my wife did look at me a little bit weird when I bought this I can honestly say it's one of the best things that I've ever done for my hair.I have medium thickness dark hair down to just past my shoulders and I realized it was time to start treating my hair right if I was going to continue growing it out. This brush not only feels great, but I can tell a real difference in the shine, and health of my hair after just a few short weeks of use.Lastly this brush is very high quality, comes in a very nicely done box, and I highly recommend it for anyone that wants to take treating their hair right seriously.
