Britax Boulevard ClickTight Convertible Car Seat, Circa

Ya tenemos este car seat por más de 6 meses y puedo decir que todo bien, no nos equivocamos en elegir Britax, creo que la comodidad y seguridad que ofrece es insuperable.Pros:-Mi hija tiene 4 años, 105cm y 18kg. Puedo decir que aún tiene espacio por mucho tiempo más.-Es totalmente estable, no se mueve ni un poquito, mejor aún que tenemos el protector de asiento de goma de Britax, que lo hace aún más fijo.-Muy fácil de instalar, toma solo un minuto.-Lo usamos con cierto grado de reclinación hacia atrás (en modo front facing) así cuando mi hija duerme su cabeza se soporta a los lados y su cuello no sufre.-Tiene certificación para usar en el avión.Contras-No es un car seat para usar de un carro a otro pues es bastante pesado, incluso se me hace un poco difícil sacarlo cuando lavan el carro por dentro, pero no es un gran problema.

I just installed and used this car seat with my 1 1/2 year old yesterday. I don’t find this car seat to be that much heavier than any other seat we’ve had at all. The smaller footprint of 18” in VERY nice, and it seems to also provide a lot more leg room as well. We have an older expedition and you could easily fit 3 of these all the way across. The clicktight installation is an absolute DREAM. When you have blowouts and vomit, or you need to remove the seat often, this is the seat you want to have! I found you need to release the seatbelt before you try and open the clicktight once installed, mainly because it is so nice and tight. The harness height adjustment is very easy. The loosening & tightening of the harness over my child is SO easy and I found that if you take a second and actually tuck the harness straps into the harness strap holder opening when you’re releasing your child it really makes a world of difference in both securing your child again and preventing the straps from tangling. I have 5 kids and used many seats, the issue of tangling is just inevitable, but this is the first seat that has an area just for holding the straps and that to me is super. I read many reviews about the short crotch strap. Yes, it’s shorter than a lot of seats but not by much and really, who cares? Just loosen more of the harness straps. Quite frankly it looks safer not having such a long strap coming up and my kids are huge-all of them. I have no issue with fit due to the crotch strap. The clicktight harness tightening is a bit unreliable, I find it clicks almost immediately when I begin tightening the harness but it’s no big deal, I just end up hearing the click a few times before I know it’s tight enough. It may sound silly but it’s nice to actually have the click sound. Regardless of how many clicks it takes to fully tighten, it makes Me feel better knowing and seeing that with each click it’s tightening another “notch” vs blindly pulling and kind of feeling around and wondering if it’s even tightening like every other seat I’ve had. I love the leveling bar on the seat, it makes it so easy to know that it’s level and you’re not trying to guess if the seat is level based on some silly “marker” on the side of the seat. My only issue with that is the words are in English only on one side of the seat, and it’s not the side I see when I look at my car seat. Lol. I had to go to the other side of my car to see the leveling indicator words in English. It does not have cup holders and I’ve read a lot of complaints about that but we must use sippy cups in the early years that no one else does because none of our sippy cups ever fit in any either built in or attachable seat cup holders. We use the skip hop around the seat organizers which have cup holders, snack holders and even an iPad holder for organization of all that stuff. I also LOVE that the seat padding can be removed without any harness removal, and it’s also nice that it is in multiple pieces because not all messes go everywhere and I can just remove the sections I need to that are dirty. And even if you have to remove the whole seat who cares, this thing is a dream to install and uninstall compared to any other seat on the market. Even though it is not recommended to wash the padding in the washing machine I will probably end up doing that at some point anyway. It’s not going to ruin it I’m sure, and the mfg just says not to if you want the seat covers to hold up well the 10 years or whatever. Use a delicate cycle. If you have time to hand wash I’ll bet this thing is super easy to do so though, but for me with 5 kids I am just not going to always take or have the time for that. No big deal. I wish I’d bought this seat a long time ago.

I needed flexibility in my convertible car seat and the Britax Boulevard was the perfect choice. The installation is easy, quick, and secure, which is important for me because I transport a variety of kids at different times and sometimes need to switch between rear and forward facing quickly. I have used this seat for two infants as young as 3months old, a 4-year-old forward and rear-facing, a 5-year-old forward facing, and a 6-year-old forward facing. Even on two long road trips the 6yo was comfortable in this seat, and at 50lbs/45” tall she still has a bit of growing room. The rear-facing 4yo is light/skinny but on the taller side, and she has no problem folding up her legs or resting her feet up on the back of my vehicle seat - she is very comfortable, and she actually prefers riding rear-facing because of the more reclined position. The harness height and crotch strap position are also very easy to adjust, making my life easier when I switch the settings for a different child. It’s easy to ensure the proper fit for each child so I know the seat is used correctly and safely.None of my kiddos have complained of discomfort from the short crotch strap, and I have never had any issues buckling a child into the seat because of the crotch strap length.Unbuckling the vehicle seatbelt prior to opening the clicktight panel makes opening the panel much easier, and I have never had a problem opening the seat to move/reinstall it in my car.The only minor complaint I have is that the seat is heavy. Considering how often I have to move it around, that can be a bit annoying. But I get a secure, tight installation every time and I would absolutely take the Boulevard over a lighter seat that was harder to install well.

I love how easy this is to install/unistall. I had to have my car serviced and had my 9 month old with me. Super easy to get in and out of my car and in and out of the shuttle. Not the lightest, but I could carry it one handed with the baby in the other arm. It feels sturdy and safe and best of all my kiddo looks comfy and seems to like sitting in it. He's high enough that he can look out the window and see what's going on. We bought a second for my husbands car we liked it so much. I also like the kinda crazy pattern. I was a little nervous about it but I like it more and more and think it's kinda fun.

Es el Rolls-Royce de las sillas para coche! Tiene mil ventajas como el click para saber que tu bebé está lo suficientemente amarrado, la instalación es rapidísima y sumamente segura, la combinación de colores está padrísima y hasta ahorita no ha sufrido de calor mi bebé. Peor lo que más me gusta es que lo puedes llevar a contra marcha (volteando hacia atrás) hasta los 18 kgs, para mi eso es sumamente importante! Leí muchas reseñas que se quejaban de que el buckle de las piernas es corto, pero así debe de ser por razones de seguridad. Lo único que le cambiaría sería el precio! (pero lo encontré con un excelente descuento) y que no se peude reclinar una vez instalado, lo tienes que hacer antes (al menos cuando va a contra marcha)
