Preventing tinnitus with full enjoyment.
I am a musician who plays in a fairly loud rock band. Years ago I developed tinnitus and this was quite bothersome to me because I love music and want to be able to listen even in advanced age. When I was young I did not understand the importance of protecting my ears, which as a musician are your most valuable asset. I tried foam ear plugs and although they did work they muffled the sound horribly, my enjoyment was decreased because it made it sound like I was playing along with a rhythmic blur of undefined distant sound. I recently joined a band that is really good and was reading a bass player forum and many of the players recommended ear warrior so I gave them a shot, all I can say is I'm very happy now as I feel like I have hearing protection but can actually hear my bandmates, there's no muffled sound, it's just like turning the volume down a bit. I also went to see Joe Walsh the other night and the concert actually sounded loud even wearing ear warriors...I took them out just to see how loud it was and it was really loud , to the degree I know for sure I would be trying to go to sleep with ringing ears. Thank you EW for saving my ears.

They ITCH and they can get lost in your ear
These ITCH. I can't wear them because they itch so badly!! Maybe it's just me, and my ears don't like the rubber these are made of, but they're awful to try and wear! They're also really easy to lose IN YOUR EAR. the "invisible" function - in which they stay really close to your ear and don't stick out much - is great aesthetically but the couple of times I've tried to wear these, I have trouble getting them out.

Nice product and pretty invisible.
Nice set of 2 pairs of hearing protectors. Actually got the opportunity to try these yesterday and compare the level of filtration.Set 1 (blue) allowed a slight reduction that helped a bit. The white set was a substantial reduction that cut a lot of sound out but seemed toreally kill the high end as well. I use these while running a mid size audio system and my loss of some hearing has made me veryaware of the need for protection to prevent further deterioration. I do not insert these until I'm 100% satisfied with the mix and levels and thenthese work to limit further exposure.I do recommend these even though they tend to be a little irritating to the ear canal. Treating the earplugs with a item like ProEar may help this.I do like that they are clear colored so it's not as apparent that I'm wearing protection.

I used them for listening to live music in a small venue and they really saved my ears. Normally when I go to an event I come out after with ringing in my ears and not being able to hear anything. The earplugs helped so that after I left I was able to hear normally. Plus you can still hear the music and I was even able to hear people's conversations over the loud music better. Now I haven't tried them in large concert venues just in small music venues or in dance clubs with loud speakers. Also the carrying case is convenient and fit perfectly in my purse.

Probably a good product, just not ideal for my hearing profile.
Good these too protect what was left of my accident-damaged hearing. At highway speeds in my convertible the wind noise would become slightly uncomfortable after 10-15 minutes. I also need to hear the passenger next to me 'ahhh! slow down!' While the fit was fairly comfortable -- you gotta jam 'em in deep for them to work -- at least better than the discomfort of the wind noise, for me, the overall experience did not meet the dual goal of less noise and hearing passengers. In fact, neither goal was in itself completely satisfactory: wearer discomfort was not worth the level of wind noise reduction it did provide and I was still having trouble hearing the passengers 'ahh! You're at 2.5x the recommended speed for that curve!' This latter perception in product performance shortfall is likely due to the particular nature of my hearing disability, not the ear plugs themselves. And as to noise reduction, these might be great at a concert or club where the noise is much louder and the voices much closer 'WHAT?! Could be rainy weather??'

Perfect Protection
I wear these ear plugs for protection from LOUD music played during spinning classes to protect my hearing. They are soft, comfortable, and do the job perfectly. The case is made to go on my key ring so I have them with me whenever I need them.

Two Stars
The material in the plastic irritated my ear canals...couldn't wear them.

Didn't work, even when pushed in to the point of having to remove them with tweezers
My husband was a machinist for 40 years and is very well acquainted with ear plugs, since he used them every day at work. I bought these for him for home so that we would not have to keep using disposable ones, simply for environmental considerations. However, he had to push them so far into his ear canal that I had to fish them out with tweezers, and he said they still didn't work for him. So we're returning them and going back to the disposables. I will say, however, that Amazon's return process was excellent, and they get big kudos for that!
