Rit Dye More Synthetic 7oz-Super Pink

This was my first attempt at Dying an article of clothing in this case a bathing suit. I brought the water up to temperature. I did forget to wet my bathing suit before putting it in the die. I felt like it took the dye instantaneously. But I let it soak on the heat for 10 minutes. It came out more towards purple, then pink but I was OK with the color. see before and after's below. There were a few places where the dye didn't get through the bikini top, that didn't quite take the color, but not the end of the world. I have been rinsing, and rinsing, and rinsing, and rinsing. And I still have just a bit of pink coming out of it. I think I need to do a few more rinses. Overall I'm happy with it and I would do it again.
