These products work great! I wanted a lock that was quick to install, didn't require drilling, and didn't make opening the cabinets an arduous task. These fit the bill. In one cabinet, the frame was a bit offset from the door at the top so I had to attach them upside down at the bottom and they work great. On all my kitchen cabinets, they've successfully kept my curious 15 month old out. I was very reluctant to get the locks in the first place, but he was so adamant about getting into the cabinets that I caved. I'm so glad I got these.Once installed, you can flip a lever in order to engage the lock when it closes and from there, it just won't open. It feels like I'm more likely to break the cabinet than open the cabinet if I really pulled hard. My 15 month old doesn't stand a chance. When I don't want them on, I just flip the lever on the inside so that they're disengaged and then I don't have to unlock them each time. I keep the magnet releases on the fridge, so it is never really inconvenient for me.I liked them enough to buy a second batch, and in that batch I had a few duds - the lock wouldn't pop up when engaged. The owner of the company had already personally reached out to me to ask me how I liked them, and I told her my dilemma. She asked no questions at all, and about a week later I had a new batch.Great product, great service - can't ask for much more.

It doesn't really work with cabinets where the roof of the inside of the cabinet doesn't align with the top of the cupboard door. It also doesn't really work with cabinet doors that have a raised edge around it. Basically, the edges of the cupboard door have to be flat and the interior roof has to align with the a flat part of the cupboard door.They provided two replacement sticky pads for each of the "clicker" part and the "catcher" part, but I used them up trying to realize that the product will not work on my cabinet. I got these to cat-proof my cupboards, and I can tell they would have worked fine otherwise.

Bought these about a year & a half ago. Most of them are still on the cabinets but, they are very easy to pop off with a good yank. They were very easy to install so that was a huge plus considering we installed 10 & it wasn’t too time consuming. The downside, the magnets don’t do the best job responding to each other so that gets VERY frustrating & the kids have trouble getting into the cabinets when needed. The magnet used to open the cabinets got lost within the first couple months but, we were able to find a good replacement at Home Depot. Considering how long most of them have lasted I’d say we got our monies worth but, I plan to try a different style for the cabinets that still need “child proofing” (or in our case “ferret proofing”). so, these work pretty easy but the lining up for them I would like to speak to:1) the lock part (not the part you use the magnet for) should be lined right up to the very edge of cabinet you are using2) the magnet side portion is a little trickier. i tried to eyeball it and it worked decently enough but if there is a better way to line up, i must have missed itthese work for little children but the one knock of a star against it is they come off TOO easily. yes, i cleaned the surface but if, say, your wife happens to forget or your 3 year old child decides to open it - it's coming off pretty easily. pretty much after 2 were taken off, i've told my wife "guess that was 20 bucks wasted".It's not a bad product at all - definitely worth getting to keep your cabinets from having to be drilled into.

When I was installing these, I installed them just a little off where they should have been, and to close them now is a pain. At first, these worked great, but now we've had them for about a year, and they're getting harder to open. The little lock park gets caught and doesn't always work with the magnet. I've dropped the magnet several times and every time it breaks open. They're super easy to put back together, but once I had to move the stove because they magnet bounced under it. I like that they're not visible but sometimes they're just plain irritating.

Overall, I find this product is effective but requires work. The instructions included are hard to understand. The drawings of two different cabinet types for installation do not look any different from each other and offer vague verbiage on how to align the mechanisms. When installing the magnetic locks on cabinets, it's difficult to line up the pieces - takes a lot of trial and error, having to remove and re-position the mechanisms, hoping the sticky part of the mechanism doesn't ruin the cabinet. Once installed, I've found we have to slide the magnet over the mechanism several times before it unlocks. Other times, it unlocks right away. When closing the cabinet, I have to jiggle the cabinet to get the mechanism to lock. Price was good, but for the hassle, I may try something different next time.

Everything with these is working great, they were easy to install, I have opened the cabinet doors many times without remembering to unlock them, but the hardware hasn't come off and the door remains locked, so they are sturdy enough to keep out an adult male. The one thing I will note is that it is very important where you install the catch, and not all cabinets have the same structure for where the doors hit, but I installed one of mine slightly too far back so I have to kind of push in to get it to unlatch with the magnet. I'm fine with this, since this is the cleaning supplies cabinet so the fact that it's more secure is probably better, but be careful when installing and don't just line it up with your frame, because that might not be the best spot.

These work really well for us. And they were affordable.My only real complaint is that they designed the magnet you use to open the doors as a size of something a small child could easily choke on. Clearly people who use this product will have small children around, why not make the opener a different size/shape to be more infant friendly?
