I am a hard-core insomniac, having first suffered from middle-of-the-night wakefulness when I was seven years old. (My parents were not sympathetic, which only made it worse.) Over the years I have experimented with pretty much everything, from melatonin to meditation, limited screen time and special blue light glasses, soothing teas and boring books. 4-7-8 breathing? Nice concept, helps me relax, but sleep, no way. Prescription sleeping aids don't appeal to me for a number of reasons.I have tried other WishGarden herbs -- the sampler kits are great if you can find one that meets your needs -- and the Sleepy Nights is my favorite. When I'm up at 3 am (hello darkness, my old friend) I can grab a glass of water and the Sleepy Nights, and a few sips later I'm ready to head back to bed. Does it taste amazing? No, it tastes kind of medicinal in an herbal way. But the taste isn't bad, not nearly nasty enough for me to consider adding chocolate to the routine.Sleepy Nights may not work for everyone. It doesn't always work for me, but 90%+ of the time it's effective, and I prefer it to everything else in my insomniac arsenal.

I bought this based on reviews about using it to get back to sleep as I have no problem falling asleep but wake up a few hours later and cannot fall back asleep. I have tried all kinds of otc sleep aids to no avail. Since this one said fall asleep or get back to sleep I thought I might as well try it. I saw negative reviews based on the taste but that wouldn't matter if it actually worked! It did absolutely nothing for me. I have tried it now 5 times and even took a double dose last time, with no results. It states that if you don't fall asleep within 10-15mins take another dose up to 4X but that's ridiculous, not only does it require measuring the stuff and mixing it with water but the measuring cup that comes with it is so dark colored that you cannot even see the measurement on the side, especially at night. So having to get up to measure this stuff out and then add water and go back to bed is crazy if you have to do this every 10-15 mins. more than once! And like I said it did absolutely nothing for me at all, total waste of money! Oh and it doesn't taste very good either.

Tried this based on a recommendation from a friend... The first few days I noticed no change, but kept using it because my friend was so adamant it worked. Then suddenly I was sleeping through the night, no more wake ups at 2am! I have never had trouble falling asleep, but always have issues staying asleep. This stuff has given me full nights of sleep with no real morning grogginess! This is my second purchase of it - went for the jigger this time 😆

This is an excellent, safe, non-addictive sleep aid. No, it's not Ambien or Lunesta or Klonopin, not quite as reliable as Rx drugs like those, but it's about 95% reliable and if first dose doesn't work, you can take more. Most important: it doesn't have all the scary side effects of the Rx sleep aids! No sleepwalking, etc. Introduced to me by a nutritionist and okayed by my primary care doc. Have used for several years. Highly recommended.

I am in my early 40's. The last year I was not sleeping well 5 nights out of 7. Mostly would wake at 3am or 4 am to pee. Then I couldn't go back to sleep. I tried multiple ways trying to go back to sleeping. I tried this product a month ago now and I am sleeping. There was 1 night in the process, I struggled with sleep but it was a night before a big family happening the next day at my house otherwise for me this has worked. I take it right before bed, then again middle of the night if I wake up to pee. There has been 3 times total in the month were I took it 2 times middle of the night cause I didn't go back to sleep in 15 min. There has been 1 night I didn't go to sleep right away and took it again. Hope you find what works for your body to get nice rest at night.

I haven't slept well since menopause 20 years ago....I've tried ALL the over-the-counter options in that time.. I won't say I'm gonna sleep all night forever with "sleepy Nights" , but FOR NOW it works, and it has been a week. Most sleep potions don't work for more than 2 nights. Also no "hangover."

As many have said, the taste was terrible, but that's how many herbal products are. My problem was this, after the first dose I had a bit of an upset stomach. The next time I took a dose, I had almost immediate reaction - severe nausea. I definitely did not have a "sleepy night and wake up refreshed." I've taken different herbals for years and never had this reaction. So my advice to anyone, if you are a first-time user and notice an upset tummy, it may indicate 1) the product is bad or 2) you have an allergic reaction to the ingredients. I'm not someone inclined to writing "bad" reviews, and I'm not certain which it is for me - product or allergic reaction, but I will not be taking any more of this product.

This stuff really works! I had been using a Benadryl as a sleeping aid, but if I woke during the night I had a hard time going back to sleep. I take sleepy nights just before going to bed and I'm able to sleep all night. I would have rated it 5 stars, except that I have weird dreams every night. Not nightmares, just strange dreams that are disturbing the next day.
