Nice length and quality for the price, not as nice of the more expensive straps but gets the job done and its great as a beater for beginners. Easy and fast to set up.

We had seen some people at the park with a slack line a week earlier and asked them if we could try it and it was fun. Without practice, balancing on the line seems easier for kids than adults, but with the aid of the overhead training line and balance strap, it's much easier to maintain control for beginners.The slackline took about 25 minutes to setup the first time, but got easier and faster to setup the second time we used it. The tree protectors themselves are a heavy felt material with some type of thin backing material that prevents the felt from being snagged on the tree bark; velcro on one end that allows you to secure them on the tree trunk. The addition of the loops on the tree protectors really make it easier to keep the slackline aligned on the protector while getting everything setup. While the tree protectors do protect the trunk, they're also necessary to keep the trunk from shredding the slackline. The overhead training line has no trunk protector, but since it's not designed to carry your full weight, it's probably fine without it. The stitching and coverings on the parts of the slackline that might be chafed are all very well stitched and should provide many uses before any obvious wear occurs.The slackline ratchet is heavy and does the job well. The minor issues I have with the ratchet are that it was coated in oil when it arrived so it's both smelly and slippery (wipe it down before you use it). The spring release for the ratchet handle is just stamped metal, so it can be a little painful to pull on with your fingers to release the ratchet when you're ready to release the tension and put your slackline away.The other minor issues with what you get are:* White isn't an ideal color for a slackline, it gets dirty very quickly.* The carry bag barely fits everything in it. When it does "fit" the bag can't be cinched completely closed* The ratchet protector barely fits around the ratchet and does require that the ratchet handle be in the completely closed position* Would've nice to include some straps to keep the slackline and overhead training line from unrolling on it's own.

“Slackline” is essentially a tightrope, and Kodiak Straps make it clear within the included directions that it is dangerous, even if set up as directed. I’ve a level area over grass, free of obstruction, between two trees about 30 ft. apart I’ve tested it on. Included directions were easy to follow. However, we have found it very difficult to balance on, and we’ve had two helpers, one on either side of the person balancing, for safety purposes. It’s fun because it is so challenging. I like that this kit comes with an overhead line that can be very helpful. Perhaps in the next iteration there will be a harness.

I set this up while camping with family over the Memorial Day weekend. It was a big hit with both the kids and the adults, although the kids used it a lot more than the adults. It was easy to setup and take down. Instructions were pretty easy to follow without much issue. I did have to tighten the slack line after some use from the kids, but I am sure this is common given they were on it for hours and where bouncing and what not. This is my first time owning and a slack line and I think it is a good product so far.One thing to mention, the training line can slice your hand or fingers if you grip tight and slid your hand along it. I did that myself but no one else did.

Great slackline kit. Has all the parts you would need to get started. The straps are nice and heavy, the rachets are solid and easy to use. Its nice that it comes with tree-savers to keep the strap from slipping and to protect the tree bark. The kids love this thing. Now I need about 5 more to make an entire slackline park in the woods!!

The media could not be loaded.  I’m not an expert by any means, but wanted to get this to enjoy with friends at college. We set it up fairly easily and even had some kids jump one and use it with the safety rope and an adult helper. It was tons of fun.The set comes with everything you need. The carry bag is a little small, but it works alright. I wish it was a little larger so things would fit with enough space to actually cinch closed, but the actual slack line and other items that come in the set are perfect.I definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to try something new, improve balance, or just have a good laugh with friends. If you’ve never done it before or find yourself really struggling at first, use the safety line. It is extremely helpful, and definitely makes things safer. This line can be dangerous if you fall off, so take precautions when setting it up and choosing the height, and then have fun!

This slackline set is thick & heavy...sort of like a tow line. You have to put a pretty good amount of smoke on the ratchet to get the line tight, but everything sets up well. Fun for my grandchild.
