Worked great to replace failed hose on HF compressor
Bought a brand new HF Fortress 26 gal compressor. In less than a week, the hose from the unloader to the regulator/outlets burst. Due to COVID lockdowns, the replacement wasn't available (stuck in China). Decided to get this, plus a 90* elbow to replace. The 8.5 inch version was the perfect length.Getting the old hose out took some work since HF uses red loctite for connections. But, got old one off, and installed this one in it's place with some high quality teflon tape. So far, holding like a champ, and the ID on it is significantly better than the stock version (stock version fittings had super small ID).

Great as pressure washer bypass
I used for my pressure washer bypass hose.I found a picture that OEM hose was a Continental InstaGrip 300psi and figured 250psi was good enough.1/4 NPT fit into the inlet side but I had to use a 3/8x1/4 NPT reducing bushing for the outlet.Some have pointed out that the hose doesn't swivel to install the fittings the hose will spin if you hold it on of the connections was in a tight space and I just grabbed it with vise grips. Didn't mark it. Static friction is high but once you get it going kinetic friction is much less.Item works well. I used the 18" and wouldn't go shorter. Very happy to have found this.

Holds up alright under regular use
Decent quality hose, however, after about three years of continual use (plugging & unplugging a shore line to a truck), one end had ballooned, cracked, and started leaking. Did purchase another based mostly on the price.

Perfect length for a Drier adapter for a Plasma cutter
Made this hose + water separator + disposable Drier adapter for use only for a plasma cutter.The adapter connects straight to the back of the Plasma cutter air inlet plug.Good length for this application.

Length is not quite accurate
I am waiting on some other fitting, so I have not yet installed this 18-inch hose. I did dry fit it into my system and found it to be shorter than I expected. The 18-inches in the product description refers to the measurement between the ends of the 1/4" Male NPT connectors. NOT the length of the black hose.
