Suitable for beginners.
The book has been designed in a very simple and detailed, which makes it easy to understand. The online practice tests which are provided along with this book mimic the actual GRE interface, and thus are very beneficial. Moreover, the evaluation is elaborate, detailing on all the aspects that need more efforts. However the Quants section in this book is very easy; most of the maths questions that appeared on the test were much tougher. I'd suggest students to begin with this book, and them proceed to Manhattan 5lb. GRE book for advanced practice.

Poor paper quality for such price
As per the content of the book it’s a Best Buy for beginners.Where as the quality of paper isn’t as expected for such price 903/-. The paper is too delicate and is to be handled carefully.

Half/half

A Long Review from Someone who Read this Book Cover to Cover
Long review ahead, but completely honest. I genuinely read this book cover to cover, practice problems, tutorials, and all. I took the GRE on March 26, 2022. (I gave this book 3 stars but I would've given it 2.5 stars if it were possible). In addition to this book, I used the Magoosh apps and worked a few practice problems provided by ETS.The PROS:- The structure of the verbal questions is accurate to the real GRE, although the vocabulary of the real GRE is harder.- The list of vocabulary words they give you is also accurate, although I recommend the Magoosh vocabulary builder app for more a more user-friendly experience (Magoosh also gives you more words to study).- This book is great if you haven't taken a math class in a long time. It literally goes back to the beginning to explain rudimentary algebra and arithmetic concepts, and it's worded in a way that's easy to understand.- The quantitative comparison questions were probably most accurate to the GRE from what this book shows you of the Quant section. The CONS:- There are multiple grammatical errors and number typos in this book. The Princeton Review clearly needs a better editing team, because it made me skeptical of how much I could trust the book.- The math in this book is much easier than on the real GRE. Math was never my strong subject, so I really needed something that would take me back to basics and then show me real GRE problems. Aside from the Quantitative Comparison section (which, even then, was still easier than the real GRE), the structure of the other problems was not very similar. The real GRE provides less information for problem setup than these questions. Also, the graphs in this book are terribly designed. (One example is a bar graph with sloped lines connecting the bars of unrelated data. Why would you EVER put lines on a bar graph, especially when the data don't correlate and aren't meant to correlate?! Even my stats professor thought that was ridiculous.)- There were more stats and probability questions on the GRE than this book implies. These are covered in the "Math Et Cetera" portion of the book, stating that these sorts of questions rarely pop up on the GRE. This is not true! Probability, sequences, and questions regarding median, mean, and range were the MAJORITY of my Quant section! (Granted, some of them were likely experimental as I received 3 Quant sections on my test.)OVERALL, I did well on the verbal section, although those questions were more difficult than the Princeton Review ones. Thankfully verbal reasoning comes more naturally to me. The Quantitative Reasoning, however, I only received a slightly below average score on. I feel frustrated that I read this book cover to cover over the course of 3 months only to feel underprepared then receive a worse score than I wanted. This book is mostly a waste of time unless you need to revisit basic math concepts or get a feel for the structure of the verbal questions.I recommend you use ETS' Powerprep software for the MOST ACCURATE GRE experience. I regret not doing so, and many people online who have taken the GRE will tell you this.Good luck studying!

The amount of typos in the math section is unbelievable
I don't understand what is wrong with the authors of this book and mixing the number 2 and 3 so much. I've had problems that start with something as simple as 4x + 3 and the answer part explains it with 4x + 2. This becomes very annoying with more complex problems because I scratch my head over and over about where did they get that 2, until I have to google the problem and solutions and find out that there is no way to randomly pull out different numbers so they messed up.Overall the book is very clean and has taught me so much but it just makes me mad that I'm stressing out about a problem I do not seem to understand no matter what until I look for external sources and realize that the only possible answer is that there was a typo...

Helpful and Resourceful
I found this book to be very easy to understand, helpful, and resourceful. This is especially true for the writing and reading portions of the textbook. I feel that the math portion of the textbook could be better though.

Book has questions that has no actual correlation with real test
Do not buy this book, it's a waste of time and money. You will not get practice for the real test instead go to the ETS website and buy the test prep items. Even if those ETS products are more expensive they are worth it and more helpful.
